yeah the fake thing is way better in this case. I don't want giant chunks of hash. i want blitzed industrial hash. and I want it to have a canned and homogeneous flavor. and I want it to have so much fat that you can dump it in a pan and fry it to a crisp in its own oil.

This is the key. You can mash it down into a proper thin patty on the pan, making it easy to crisp up and flip. It's one of those weird foods that smells like ass but tastes awesome though.
