Have you ever been out of the country and tried McD's in other places? How did they rank against authentic American McDonalds?

Some day I want to experience McDonalds in every country, do a video blog, maybe it could even get made into a documentary. That'd be something.

McDonald's in the South American countries I've been to were pretty similar to the US locations. Burger King tends to have more local variations but otherwise is also quite similar to US locations.
Pic related is the only Kosher McDonald's I've ever seen but I don't know how different it is as I try to not eat McD's when in Argentina. There's too many other good options.

>Kosher McDonald's
Does that mean you can't get a cheese burger or a QPWC? If you're buying a burger that normally comes with cheese, they better give you a rebate for the cheese that's being withheld.

Why is this woman shaking so much does she have ms?
>>
>>22095990
I think that's a normal amount of shaking when you're on camera with millions of people watching you.

Aside from regional specialties, how were the base ingredients? I had McDonalds in Peru and the quality of beef and buns wasn't up to US standards. They for sure weren't using genuine Heinz ketchup either, though that might have just been the franchisee trying to pull a fast one without corporates blessing.

China was good when I last went 14 years ago. Got the bubbly crispy crust fried coconut, taro and pineapple pies.

I love that I can watch beautiful women eating McDonalds all day long, and every morning I wake up to a whole new days worth of content. For free!
I can't believe I have the superlative good fortune to have been born in the greatest period of human history. Thank you Jesus!

What's normal Chinese breakfast like in China? I went a long time ago, but every day I just ate breakfast at McDonalds and didn't get to try anything local.

I've had McDonalds in, I want to say 7 different countries across 4 continents. It's all pretty much the same, none really stood out to me as being better or worse than others. That's exactly WHY I've eaten McDonalds in so many countries. Cause it's reliable, I can order a cheeseburger wherever I am in the world and know exactly what I'm getting. I mean of course they all have some unique regional items that are interesting to see, but I don't order them, that's not what I go to McDonalds for.

Not to someone with a refined palate. McDonalds strives to be uniform, but they have to deal with local supply chains and ingredients. The beef, the bread, the cheese, all subtly different. It's like wine tasting.

Well thank god I don't eat it enough to be a McDonalds connoisseur.

The 80's must have been wild for McDonalds enthusiasts. They really went all in on the Italian food fad.

I can buy a kebab or a margherita for less than what McDonald costs, tried it once to never do it ever again.

Argentina, Brazil and Ecuador were pretty similar to the US. I've never been to Peru so I can't comment on it there. The only location in Argentina I ate at was on Florida Street in Buenos Aires, which is a tourist area, so it might be more aligned with tourist expectations than a McDonald's somewhere like Mendoza. All three are beef producing countries but unlike Argentina and Brazil, Ecuador isn't really known for beef quality. Still was good enough for McDonald's.

For me, it's the Iranian knockoff of McDonald's.

Peru doesn't have beef, they have to import everything and they always get cheap frozen stuff. You can't get a decent burger outside of McDonalds in the entire country, cause their bread and cheese is also terrible. At least McDonalds doesn't fuck with the local style of super light bread thats 90% air or flavorless fresh cheese like the local joints.

Burger King tried having table service in the evenings. It didn't last long as customers weren't interested in waiting for their food even though the wait time for table delivery was shorter than the average counter time now.
>>
>>22096160
It's fresher when you get it at the counter.

That makes me wonder if the rat burger in 'Demolition Man' being served by a woman in Peruvian traditional clothes was a bit of an obscure joke.

Chicken nuggets in Germany reminded me of how they were in the US decades ago. Not the shitty flat ones we have now. They also had some better sauce options. Burgers at any European one I have tried have pretty much been the same. The consistency is what is nice though, it's a reliable meal when abroad.

Ooof! Swiss McDonalds taking a big L.
The nuggets alone were £10 and they were soggy, only scored a 3/10. That's brutal.

I know what country I'll be avoiding.

I was in Peru 6 months ago and honestly think the mcdonalds was very similar to the US. The aji Amarillo sauce they give is amazing. Had it in lima (miraflores) and the lima airport.

McDonalds is wretched, almost all burger chains are.

I was to Five Guys next to Sagrada Familia last week and it was the first time in my life when I had fast food which I truly enjoyed. I wont say no to a double quarter pounder or a filet o fish if I am starved and on the road, but I would never willingly eat McDonalds if I have time to cook or to eat at a restaurant!

I've noticed that Canadian McDonald's are generally a little cleaner and more focused on coffee/breakfast than American McDonald's

But the prices are insane now, I don't really go there for food

Mexican McDonald's is the same shit. Only difference is you really DO need to buy something to use the restrooms where in 'murica they're more merciful. If you have to buy from any big chain on this side go to burger king which has unique regional menu items.
