What's a good microwave to buy? I hear good things about the NN-SN686S but it's out of stock or sold secondhand for $700
I got a Panasonic Inverter
>>22096001Get something with mech dials only.
>>22096015Which model do you recommend, there's like 50 ones on their page
>>22096001Like another anon said, get one that's not just a big touch screen or something. The modern touch buttons suck.
>>22096001get an older one where you can still disable the beep
Any inverter microwave 1200 watts or above.
Whatever's on Facebook Marketplace for less than $30.
>>22096203What's wrong with the beeps?
>>22096254Yhwh can hear you use them on the sabbath when you're not supposed to.
>>22096001it's just a microwave stupid
>>22096203My last one I unscrewed the back and sliced the trace to the piezo.
>>22096015>>22096182avoid panasonic, the touch panel failed on mine after 2 yearseasy to fix, just annoying because you have to peel the front back to get to the actual capacitive part behind it, and once you've peeled it back like that it will never look good again
>>22096203In my experience the older ones were the ones you couldn't disable the beeps on, and the new ones pretty much all let you. Of course I'm old, so older ones are from like, 1985.
>>22096001unless they are an inverter microwave they are ALL the same.if they are an inverter microwave they are all the same inverter microwave ovens.
Get one with convection heating. It's basically like an air frier + microwave in one. They're a bit larger but way more useful. I've cooked whole ducks in mine (Samsung).
