You're not going to make anything because you're a fat lazy hog buying hot sauce
>>
>>22096794
It's pretty cheap already, most people aren't going to want to spend the time making the equivalent of something that is already decent enough and doesn't cost much. Maybe if you were growing peppers and needed to preserve some but if you have fresh peppers you might as well just use them in the food as they are.

>whats to stop anyone from just making hot sauce at home and never buying it anymore?
soilennials are stupid and lazy. that's why they pay someone to deliver food instead of going to get it, and then they wonder why they can't afford a house
>>
>>22096794
No one wants you to know this, but you can in fact make hot sauce at home, and the ducks in the park are free.

funny story, my friend pays for instacart all the time, and every time they fuck up his order, and he complains about them fucking up his order, but continues to use it and refuses to go to the grocery store in person
>>
>>22096820
that's why everything is turning into slop. soilennials don't know how to vote with their wallet. grrrr, fast food sucks so bad now! hi, yes, i would like to order a big mac please. no wonder profits are so good for the food industry after covid
>>
>>22096794
Hot sauce is easy to make but that's an especially shit hotsauce.
>>
>>22096844
go to the grocery store, take a pic of the ingredients of a good hot sauce, and post it here so i can make it for myself
>>
>>22096868
ingredients are not the only thing that matters for something like hot sauce. the same ingredients can make a good or a bad hot sauce

Here's a nice one I bought from an indie hot sauce place

Three parts to a good hot sauce:

The heat (outside of challenge sauces, this shouldn't be all you taste)
The bitter/sour taste. Cheap hotsauces make this standard vinegar and it's shit, relying on the heat to mask the sauce has no notable flavour of its own.
Complementary flavours. Something to take the edge off the sour part and to either work with the heat or to kick in before the heat takes over on stronger sauces.

He's just a moron that requires everything taste like candy. Vinegar is Satan to children's palette
>>
>>22096903
I want a hot sauce, not someone who's put pickled chillies in a blender
>>
>>22096887
wow this sounds really good actually

Why do poors spend their time hating their betters instead of improving their lives? If you weren't such an inept loser then you'd be able to afford $4 for a bottle too. I'm guessing you also manually wash your clothes in a bucket and wear your shoes indoors since your floor is literal soil on the bank of the Ganges. lol

>I want BBQ sauce but with a couple chili flakes in it
Child
>>
>>22096794
everyone makes eggs at home but that doesnt stop chickens from going out of business
>>
>>22096887
What the hell is forest fruits is it poop from a butt?
>>
>>22096887
>europoors think fruit compote is hot sauce
LMAO
>>
>>22096929
how am i poor if i don't waste my money?
>>
>>22096940
>oh no I can taste something other than cheap plain vinegar

Vinegar can be used as a sour base but is overly used in shit cheap hot sauces because you bulk out the sauce without it seeming to lower the heat (it still does, it just replaces some of the heat with sourness)

>xanthan gum
That's what you're missing, it's an alien mineral only mined in the asteroid belt. It's highly addictive too, which is why it's in everything now.

You need actual Cayenne pepper, not chili pepper. You need Capsicum frutescens, from Guyana. Capital: Cayenne. Part of France. The only company who ever bothered to do their homework outside of Europe is the McIlhenny Company (Tabasco). Good luck with your project.

fuck i put hot sauce on everything too those bastards. you think itll taste alright without it or dont even bother?
>>
>>22097041
your body will go into withdrawal and then die
>>
>wouldnt that cause hot sauce companies to go out of business?
like how beer and wine companies went out of business in 1979?
>>
>>22096794
why aren't you bottling and selling it, op?
wouldn't that cause you to stop being poor?
>>
>>22096993
You waste your time, which should be used to make more money than a bottle of hot sauce is worth ($4)
>>
>>22096794
>whats to stop anyone from just making hot sauce at home and never buying it anymore?
Nothing, really. But most hot sauces include fermented peppers, so be prepared to pickle some peppers before you actually make your sauce.
>>
>>22097246
so you are poor since you are posting on here instead of making money?
>>
>>22097346
Already made ~12k USD today, thanks for the concern though
>>
>>22096794
Try it
>>
>>22096929
>poors
>their betters

You're not better than anyone with that snobby attitude. You're an unsuccessful loser posting on 4chan. LOL
>>
My hot sauce goes rancid quickly, this shit I've been adding white distilled vinegar to since last year just keeps on giving.
>>
>>22096887
eek ook eet hut
>>
I make fermented hot sauce from various peppers. My main sauce is made from lemon habaneros and basically just blended pepper mash with garlic and salt. Beats anything you can buy.
>>
>>22097424
You're the one seething at me because you can't afford a $4 bottle of vinegary pepper liquid
