Waiting on the missus to decide if she wants black olives or jalapenos.
>>22102952She wants black.
Well gentlemen, I had the charcoal BBW going because it is too hot to cook inside. That bbq has a top rack and when I saw the thermometer reading 450°f I started having blasphemous thoughts. I ran in and made a small batch of quick dough. By the time the dough had risen The temp in the bbq had dropped and I didn't have much luck getting it back up to heat. But it didn't let it deter me. Simple dough, sauce, cheese and a sprinkle of finely chopped onions....
>>22102973No, not the prettiest, but it was an experiment. It cooked at a far lower temp than I would have liked, but overall it turned out ok. I think I could probably pull off a good pie if I had my temperature where I wanted it. The added bonus is I was using home made charcoal that I made from an old green ash. It added some great smokey flavor. I think this might keep me happy until I can replace my deceased wood fired oven.
>>22102981nah looks good for a grill pizza
>>22101780the pizza is basically fried not baked so the underside is crispy unlike true baked pizzas which are soft >>22102981looks good but a little cracker-like
