I know 7-Elevens in Japan serve much better food than the ones in the USA, but I still have multiple grocery stores within a small area offering fresh sushi, fresh fried food, sandwiches, fresh cooked meats, soups, etc. There are food deserts in the USA and that's something that needs to be addressed but part of the issue is also people just choosing to eat junk food all the time.

Why the FUCK do they keep giving me money? Seriously, CVS tosses so much cash my way that I go in there and get a hundred bucks worth of shit and practically pay $20 and a length of string for it all. Most recently, they have us $7 off $8 worth of snacks. We're not even a snack family but considering that chips were $1.49/bag, we got 6 bags for under $2. Actually, no. We got some shelf stable apple sauce from there more recently than that, $3 for 2,4lbs of Mott's no sugar added. C'mon, now. That shit is $12 usually.

Another recent-ish buy (around Memorial Day) was 6 sticks of deodorant, Right Guard sport and Secret something or other for the missus and they were $1.32 each for RG and $1.42 for Secret. Then there was a forgotten $5 ExtraBucks on the checkout screen. And we got a $3 ExtraBucks back after. OOP was $3.22 but with the ExtraBucks, net cost was 22¢. It's fucking absurd.
