Warm pineapple on something like tacos al pastor is great. The problem with pineapple on pizza is it's often bottom of the barrel, sugar syrup added canned pineapple with way too many large chunks thrown on a cheap ham and cheese school lunch style shit pie. There are pizzas with sweet ingredients that are great, like some sweeter barbecue sauce bases, hot honey and sausage, etc. You could make a great pineapple pizza if you put the effort it to do it right. Maybe throw some Mexican shit on it like the aforementioned tacos. It doesn't have to be a strictly Italian traditional pizza, pizza is just bread and cheese and sauce and you could improvise on that a million tasty ways.But if you're eating something like Dominos which is just gonna throw a couple cheap ingredients on a crappy pizza, pineapple is a bad choice. If they're just gonna toss a handful of cheap shit with no care put into it, you pizza would come out better with something like peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni. There's a long list of stuff that won't come out as shit as pineapple.

It's usually not the pineapple that's the problem. It's the ham that nearly invariably accompanies it. That paper-thin, soaking wet ham that tastes and feels like what you'd squeeze from a tube in a 70s science fiction work is disgusting. Good shaved ham that has some crispness to it is great. If you can't get that, go with bacon.The problem can be the pineapple though. The sweet and sour flavor should compliment the pizza and the meat, but if you use too much or too big of chunks then you end up with an unpleasant mess that's one box of Jello away from, well, a 70s gelatin recipe. 70s on my mind today, I guess.Anyway, OP should lay a brick on the accelerator and fellate a tailpipe.

Blueberries, strawberries, bananas, oranges and lemons. They all work great. You just have to keep an open mind and try different things.
