kroger? cook it on a baking sheet in the oven at 400
>>
Take a sheetpan, put down a sheet of parchment paper, and spread your bacon down in a single layer. Add it to your oven and cook until it's how you like it. When it's done, pour off the fat into a jar and throw it in the fridge, pat your bacon dry and throw that in the fridge too. No mess. Or buy a splatter guard and cook it in a pan however you like it.

4-5mins in the nukrowave (depends how much bacon you're cooking so check with the google dot coms) and put a paper plate over the top of them so they don't spittle everywhere

have you considered putting a lid on your pan so the grease does not splatter everywhere?
>>
>>22107196
You would need to say bogof.
Bogo could mean
Buy one, get one ..for the same price
Buy one, get one ..the next time you do shopping
Buy one, get one ..half price
>>
>>22107639
everyone knows what bogo means, tismo

I bake it in the oven to render the grease because it makes good soap
>>
>>22107149
I get thick cut bacon from Costco. When I make em, I pour a little water to render out the fat. After a few minutes when a lot of the fat is out, I dump the water into another container while I keep cooking the bacon in the pan. There's more than enough fat for the bacon to cook it. As long as there's enough water in the pan, the white oil floats to the top and separates solid in the fridge. After the bacon is done, remove the fond with a little bit of water. Could make rice, could make eggs, could toast your bread maybe. I always did scrambled eggs when I ate bacon.

make some leek, bacon and potato soup in a big pot
>>
>>22107149
Oven 325-350, turn the pan around halfway through. If you got one of those stainless steel splatter guards use that to
>>

You don't have to cook everything at max heat you retarded animal.

>Buy one, get one ..for the same price
That's not a thing, unless you're being snarky.
>Buy one, get one ..the next time you do shopping
From the context, that is not the case. OP has returned home with 2 bacon packages from a single trip.
>Buy one, get one ..half price
Could be, but so what? OP has more bacon for less money. We don't need to know the specific deets to know that its a triumph!
>>
>>22107900
Interesting, did you develop that technique?
>>
I get the boner for crispy bacon, ate it almost every day for decades, i'm into boiled bacon now. Just enough water to cover the slab (don't even need to peel them apart) and low simmer until you're hungry. You can drink some of the water when it's cool without burning my tongue.
put the cooked bacon in a ziplock, peel out a piece whenever i feel like. it's chewy and fatty and tears, no crispy.
>>
>>22107149
That's why you bake it in the oven. Pan frying is inferior to baked bacon.
