You also need to tip on the full price of the meal, so another $4. Don't want to tip? Ok, you're coming back tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, etc. How long do you think you're going to get away without tipping without consequence? So you're really paying a bit over nine dollars a day for a meal. $9 x 91 days = $819. Far less expensive than if you paid $18/day for an entree but still quite expensive for a bunch of pasta.
