I've only ever drank alcohol once in my life and that was 40% whiskey where I drained most of the bottle and slept for 20 hours.I'm going to be cooking a heathy meal of cowboy beans and bread, so I'm looking for a wine to go with it. I don't like the burn from alcohol, so I wonder if there is an alcohol that doesn't burn? I think something fruity would be nice, also my price range is about 50 euro for the bottle.
>>22110801>cooking a heathy mealI mean hearty
>>22110801just get any sweet wine. it has no burn
>>22110801Vinho Verde
>>22110801>never drank wine>eatin beans>needs a 50 euro bottlebro just drink water. who are you trying to impress? you're eating fucking beans
>>22110801>I don't like the burn from alcohol, so I wonder if there is an alcohol that doesn't burn? I think something fruity would be nice,You could try a lambic which is exceedingly fruity and hilariously low abv like 2-3% usually. Or you could get a fruity soju and mix it conservatively with fresca or sprite.
I recommend château mouton vintage 2021, it offers a nice equilibrium in tanines and a deep sensation and barely any aftertaste to tarnish taste of beans, other years can do, especially 2015, but they wont pair as well with a can of beans and a slice of cheap bread. The hell is wrong with you? You eating beans on a toast, if you really need wine to eat them just buy one of those cheap offbrand bricks of wine at your local supermarket...
chianti is underrated
>>22110801>I've only ever drank alcohol once in my life and that was 40% whiskey>I don't like the burn from alcohol, so I wonder if there is an alcohol that doesn't burn?yeah not straight spirits....you dont need a 50euro bottle, see what the cheapest is and buy something a little more than that>something fruityPinot Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel>a heathy meal of cowboy beans and bread, based but a dark ale would go better imo
>>22111692>something fruityThe perfect fit for OP.
Bros, how do I even get into wine? It it like the first 100 beers that are rough and then you like it afterwards? Beer is fine when I drink it, vodka sodas are fine, and even the hard alcohols are fine. But wine? I can't get used to. If I keep pushing to drink wine, will I eventually want a wine with cheese whenver that happens?
>>22113370Some people cant tolerate wine due how much tanines it has, especially red wine, you may be one of them.
>>22110801>I'm going to be cooking a heathy meal of cowboy beans and bread, so I'm looking for a wine to go with it.Lmao what
>>22113375So you're saying, I should like it right away given I'm used to beer and liquor? Is it kind of how some people don't like Cilantro because it tastes like soap to them?
>>22110801BuzzballAny fruit flavor
>>22110801>>22110815This is delightful, and perfect for the summer heat (white, bubbly). Get whatever youngish Portuguese or Spanish red table wine if it's chili.
>>22113370>Bros, how do I even get into wineFind something that stands out, and keep track of that vinter & REGION— you generally won't be disappointed if you go by region. Then, try it chilled if it wasn't to your taste (can reduce sweetness and attenuate tannin forwardness). And try a glass straight out of the opened bottle, then one that's had time to air out (a few minutes, and the next day). Look at charts with flavour profiles of various types and focus on interesting ones + tasting notes on labels.
>>22113400>Is it kind of how some people don't like Cilantro because it tastes like soap to them?Yep, more or less like that, some people even get a massive headache with just a small glass of wine due said tanine reaction.
