What does /ck think about my breakfast?
Boiled instant ramen, added to hot pan with oil, cooked until brown. Added four scrambled eggs and moved pan underneath a broiler. Finished with chili crisp, Sriracha, and green onions. Two thumbs up will do again.
>>22111408Actually looks really good, was it crunchy outside and soft inside?
>>22111482Thanks. Yep, crunchy outside, soft on inside. Would have like to have browned the noodles a little more but I added the egg about a minute too early and so I had to move to top heat or risk overcooking the eggs. Was still crispy.
>>22111408looks tasty :3
>>22111408why is the sriracha orange?
>>22111403a ramen frittata? actually looks decent. if that's a whole pack of ramen, that thing is over 900 calories, kind of insane for breakfast.
>>22111645Yeah, it was. That's kinda crazy now that you say it but it was low 900's. I do think it would have been fine with 1/2 ramen, so subtract 185. Cut out two eggs for another 140. Still quite a lot of calories. If it helps I shared 1/6 of it.
>>22111565Not sure? Bottle is red. Just a thin amount, I suppose. Also Sriracha isn't what it used to be so that probably contributed.
>>22111543Agreed
>>221114084 eggs? damn
>>22111511One of fhe first things I ever cooked was a really old infographic style recipe I found on /b/ of an instant ramen omelette with shred cheese on top. Must have been around 18 years ago at this point lol.
>>22111805I think v2 will be half the pack of ramen, two eggs, and add some sort of creamy sauce along with the Sriracha. Maybe a miso mayo? Or just some Kewpie?
>>22111403I think it's not breakfast
