>tfw "people" unironically enjoy rice in burritos
mmmm I love getting a bite filled with nothing but filler and maybe a sliver or two of meat
>>
I California, they also put french fries in the middle. So I hear.
>>
>>22113224
Fries in a California burrito aren't nearly as intrusive as rice.
Also, you have to specifically ask for it California style for fries, some places just add rice to a normal burrito because they're cheap assholes.

>>22113225
I love rice, just not in a burrito.
>>
>>22113225
yea that's why japanese people are all fat and sick
>>
>>22113225
Dumb ketard.
>>
I don't know. I just like rice. Especially when it's firm, like you would find in a burrito. And if you add fajita vegetables that goes a long way, as well. I think it's the same reason people like fried rice. It has barely anything in it besides rice. But because it's fried in oil and seasoned, it becomes its own thing that hits different than just plain rice on the side of another dish.

I do love our jovial biplay here on /ck/

Yes, nothing but playful ribbing and good-natured banter.

I was thinking how to incorporate rice into my next pizza. I'm already going to have it with pasta and fries. But that last, all-important food group was still missing. And I think I' ve got it. I will add FRIED rice. Can't wait.

picrel: "people" who refer to something edible as "nothing but filler"
>>
I would suggest switching from burritos to tacos, then. It's basically the same thing, only without rice.
>>
>>22113265
>unhealthy bad stuff like pasta, rice and bread
you're a mongoloid
go eat some grass

>>22113222
chinese

You people from the US are fat because your food is shit, the rest of the world eats potato, rice and wheat and yet they're not fat unlike you, who also eats the most meat and puts butter everywhere.
>>
>>22113265
If you gave two shits about your health you wouldn't be eating out enough at places with foods you hate that it's a problem for you.
Make your own food or be more intentional with what you order when you dine out. Try thinking about what you eat before shoving it in your mouth.

I have always hated this idea that starches are not "real food". That's only MEAT. Meat being costlier and the only part you're "after". Anything getting in the way is "filler", like they're trying to defraud you in some way.

Just buy steaks or chickens and cook them up yourself if you're going to be that way, fucker.

Most countries except for a few Asian countries and really poor ones have at least 50% obesity/overweight. Also the issue is mainly just ultraprocessed food. And you're responding to a keto shitposter btw.
>>
The worst thing about ketards is that their meat isn't even edible. They'd taste like wolf, but without the benefit of knowing you killed a wolf.
>>
>>22113820
OP here. I'm not doing keto, I just strongly dislike the texture of rice in a burrito.
>>
>>22113829
Now we're getting to the bottom of it. Many people enjoy the texture of rice to a point where they welcome it almost anywhere.
>>
>>22113831
Just put that shit on the side.
I swear, I don't remember seeing so many places put rice in their burritos by default until Chipotle got extremely popular.
>>
>>22113833
I don't intend to die on this hill. I just like both styles, depending on mood. There are plenty of places that have burritos without rice.
>>
I will die on this hill. Rice never ever belongs in a burrito
>>
>>22113853
Agreed, rice in burritos is dogshit
>>
>>22113853
The texture is pleasant and not an issue as being "filler" unless you're trying to get 35 different fillings for some 8-pound monstrosity that you should be eating over the course of 4 meals anyway. When you're eating something reasonable you're not really hurting for room inside the thing.
>>
>>22113853
I'll kill you on that hill. Rice belongs in every burrito.
>>
I like rice
>>
>>22114026
No one cares
>>
>>22113222
Yeah these "people" eat at chipotle type places.
>>
>>22113222
Do americans fry their 'burritos'

Here in mexico we have them by proxy sort of and they often just are like flour tortillas and whatever inside, nothing crazy
