No, but I just gave an American friend a "recipe" (ovvero, direzioni senza misure) for Neapolitan brisket soup.>Simple shit. Soffritto of tomato, onion, carrot and celery in olive oil, sear a huge chunk of fatty brisket, add stock, cook at the barest simmer ever, add larger cuts of veg (no tomato this time) and potato, cook until done then serve soup and pasta (cooked separately) as first course then vegetables, potato and sliced brisket as second course with some added salt, lots of pepper and some good bread. Drizzle the meat and veg with additional oil, if desired.
Maybe not a new one but when it's hot like this I always make Chef John's tatziki sauce. Very refreshing
i used one of those boxes curry rouxs for the first time and made a lamb curry. i was surprised at how good it was. made a shit load of portions too so i had leftovers for a whole week which was great. gonna buy it again soon and try to braise beef in it
