The "I really don't want to cook today" special. What do you eat when you have no leftovers and don't want to cook? For me it's sandwiches.
>>22115442i currently have absolutely no food in my home so i was thinking about getting drunk and ordering a pizza
nice keyboard jaakko
>>22115442Guess technically it's cooking but mug bread. Takes about two minutes to prepare.
>>22115451Is it possible to learn how to do this?
>>22115451For low effort cooking I'd probably stick with porridge. With jam instead of the bacon pictured in that case. Just boil some flour for a bit.Looks interesting though, never heard of instant microwave bread.
>>22115446I sure like my budget Å Ä Ö keyboard
>>22115472Microwave a tbsp of butter (10-20 seconds), rotate the mug around so the melted butter coats the insideMix 3 tbsp of almond flour, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, and one large eggMicrowave for 90 secondsThat's all there's to it.
>>22115630Screenshotting this.I will try it at a time. Thank you, anon!
>>22115442If I have frozen microwaveable rice I’ll toss a bag of that together with a can of fish and some sauce, or make a cheese sandwich, or eat a bunch of nuts and chocolate chips and then feel gross>>22115444What kind of pizza did you get?
i stock up on discounted and on-special things. i've got a few Compleats, those things you microwave for 1 minute. most of them are tasteless, the chicken and dumplings is alrightfrozen meatballs are easy, sometimes put them on bread.
>>22115442Bannana, granola bar, or a premixed protein drink. I don't like the powder because it's always chalky and clumpy unless you use a blender but that seems like too much effort on those don't want to cook days.Or a handle of vodka but then I don't feel like cooking or eating for another 2 days after.
>>22115442Well Done King
>>22115630Would cheese be a good addition here? I feel like it could be>>22115442Hell yeahh, same! For almost a decade i had to eat gluten free, so any sandwich still had to be toasted in order to be edible. I’m stoked about a plain old sandwich nowadays, normal bread is delightful. My former no cook meal was microwaved gf easy mac or peas with cottage cheese and black pepper
>>22117842>What kind of pizza did you get?bacon, pineapple, blue cheese and garlica few drops of hot sauce and i was in heaven
>>22115442Buttered toast with cinnamon/sugar mix undefeated!!!
>>22115442I made schnitzel and freeze it raw, I fry it straight from the freezer I have it on a bread roll with lettuce and tomato and mustard with a bag of American crinkle cut crisps as a side I like to slice the tomato in disproportionate sizes reminds me of being a lad>>22115442
>>22117850I stockpile frozen lasagna when it's on discount. Tastes like cardboard but it's so fucking cheap
>>22118064Yes, cheese is a nice addition. I also sometimes mix in an Italian seasoning blend.
>>22118765lmao

>>22118965why not both?
>>22118965Believe me, your feminine existence beats the poor girl down more daily that your dainty fists ever will.
>>22115442Couple options depending on what I have in stock>meat, bread, cheese, dip charcuterie dinner>snackmaxx with canned fish, crackers, etc>cereal/granola, preferably with yogurt and a bunch of other good stuff piled in like fruit and chocolateI usually stock up for 1 or 2 nights a week of the first category and the others are more emergency mode

>>22119369but it's good :(
Damn. OP just went outside and grabbed a full breakfast. Mirin’ hard as fuck.
>>22115442Eggs are not a solution to a good diet, eggs are just a sign of giving up.
>>22120021i'd hate to live life like you do
>>22115442I just eat some pasta and hope I have a jar of pesto left
>>22115444I used to be that guy. No job, no clue, just stuck doomscrolling and wondering why nothing was working out. Life felt like a co-op game where I forgot to pick up a second controller. Then I tripped over something kind of wild the army's got this #QuickShip thing where you can pull in $40k just for signing and showing up. Not even joking. I'm not trying to LARP as a drill sergeant or something. I'm just saying: if you're sitting around wondering how the hell to get ahead, this is one of those options that somehow exists but no one talks about unless your uncle brings it up at Thanksgiving. Except now they're throwing real money at people who are willing to step up. I know what you're probably thinking. Military=war, scary stuff, not for me. I thought the same. Full-blown tech nerd over here, never touched a weight, social skills at 15%, maxed out in sarcasm and caffeine dependency. But the truth? Most recruits never see combat. You're more likely to end up learning stuff, getting in shape, and figuring your life out than you are running into anything risky. It's more "life reboot" than battlefield. You build structure, get confidence, and yeah people actually treat you with more respect. You stop feeling like a background NPC energy and start showing up like a main character. And the kicker? After your time's up, you've got $40k+, free education, benefits, the works. Start a business, buy a house, whatever. It's like real-life NG+ with unlockable perks that don't expire. Not saying it's for everyone, but if you're even a little tired of sitting on the bench while life keeps loading might be worth looking at. No hype, no pressure, just putting it out there like someone should've done for me. If you're curious, there's a site I found that breaks down how #QuickShip and bonuses work. Look it up, do your own digging. Just maybe don't dismiss it like I almost did. goarmy.com

>>22115630>almond flourhave some gluten, shithead normie
>>22115442>What do you eat when you have no leftovers and don't want to cook?
>>22122672There are recipes online for all-purpose flour but I've never made it that way. Probably makes it more like Wonder Bread, while the almond flour makes it more rustic.

>>22115442I have lifelong diagnosed crippling autism that manifests in extreme ritualism. So I unconditionally and repeatedly cook my own foods every single day for every single meal fresh and never eat out.
>>22115442I microwave an entire bag of steam-in-bag brussel sprouts and just eat them straight out of the bag with a little salt and pepper
>sandwichNah. Don't want to die prematurely by becoming fat. This rarely happens because I like cooking but the laziest thing is probably going down to one of my chest freezers and thawing a Costco rotisserie chicken and eating. Sometimes do a steak from frozen on my griddler. Can't get much lazier than that.

>>22115630I 'member making the stupid brownie version of this as a kid, I remember it turning out somewhat rubbery but otherwise not bad
>>22115446its not a mongol keyboard you fool
>>22122468>>22122489The eggs are the subject in the foreground and are in focus, the keyboard is in the background. All the information needed was in the foreground object. And secondly, I'm Europoor living in America right now. But I have always used just the standard US keyboard, even back home, because my language doesn't a special one. In the other hand, a lot of people I know here have imported their national keyboards because they need them to be able to type (I work in an international team so almost everyone is from somewhere else in the world). That's also probably why the keyboard didn't register for me, even subconsciously, because I'm just used to seeing them and they don't stand out as unnatural. Thank you for reading my armchair psychoanalysis blog.
