I had the same thing happen at grocery outlet but it was a super tiny mouse. Anywhere there's massive amounts of food there's going to be the possibility of mice/rats/bugs that's how life works but it's no reason to freak out unless you see like dozens of rats. Just tell an employee and move on with your grocery shopping.

Tldr the world isn't sterile don't cry about it

rats are supposed to make good pets but they don't live very long

Which blue hellhole do you live in?

That's unheard of where I live.

My Wal Mart has birds flying around in it. I have to imagine they swoop down and eat the food or poop on it.

Yeah I’ve seen birds flying around the grocery store a couple times. It put me off from buying the fresh fish that’s out in the open air
>>
>rats
It shouldn't be a deal breaker unless you're buying fresh produce. Non-perishable grocery items on dry shelves are sealed, some of them hermetically. If you're buying dried grains, then don't buy anything noticeably contaminated or unsealed.

Hey, free rat.
>>
>>22123265
yeah it's pretty much impossible to keep completely pest free a big building that's constantly open to the outdoors. of course you do your best to curb it and hopefully the public never sees anything, but occasionally something's gonna slip through the cracks, it's inevitable. wash your produce.

A few years ago at my local Lowes a forktruck stabbed through a bag of sunflower seeds, the birds apparently told all their bird friends about the feast.

The store I worked at had a bird infestation that lasted a couple years, pigeons. Neither the county nor the health department said anything. Not a peep about the pigeon poop in the dairy and meat displays or the cases of top stock product covered in bird shit.

Anonymously report it to corporate and enjoy the shitshow.
