I read about that restaurant in a magazine when I was a kid and thought it was the coolest shit, and I told myself when I was older I would go there, preferably on a date or something.Then it disintegrated on 9/11, and since most of the staff perished in the collapse the spirit of the restaurant was gone. I just wish they would have put something similar on World Trade Center One instead of the viewing deck with the gay cafe. WOTW was a literal symbol of elevation and ascension. You sitting at that table was a sign you had literally made it in the world, that you had elevated yourself.
