>>22123754I've only ever seen one episode of Life Goes on and it was at my grandmother's house on easter. The annoying as fuck thing was the episode was about him and his friend (or sister?) going into their childhood playhouse or whatever and finding their old toys, and Corky got all excited and wanted to play again like they were kids but she said no because they're grown up and they have to let go. And it made Corky incredibly sad because he couldn't process that. The fucked up thing is I have tried to look up this episode and it's gone full Mandela and never existed

Some American football player o never heard of released a line of sausages that ShopRite put on clearance for 50¢/lb so I bought a few. I don't remember what I thought of them and I was single at the time so I have no one to ask, either.
>>22123881I like the episode where the mayor has full blown dementia, was rocking back and forth on a rocking horse while wearing adult diapers and whispering "and go!" with each forward rock of the horse. That was immediately after he shot someone in the head, killing him.Or was that Picket Fences? Man, 90s American TV is such a blur to me.
>>22126848Does any normal folx actually buy these frozen dinners thinking they'll be good? I always thought they were for alcoholics, the elderly, disabled people, the super obese, very poor and stupid people, and people with other conditions that prevent them from cooking or having money to order food. Pasta and a jar of cheap sauce is a better and cheaper meal than any of these frozen meals.
>>22126858Some of them arent that bad and are nice for a night when you just want to eat and do nothing
>>22126852That happened in Picket Fences and also The Practice but all three shows, PF, TP and Life Goes On are in the Kelleyverse and interrelated. Kelley is a shit writer because while the exact same scene plays out in both shows, it's not the same character and the outcome is different in each. In Picket Fences, he was the mayor, yes, but he didn't shoot anyone. Instead, he was wearing Indian headdress, barricading himself in his office and threatening to shoot anyone who tried to come in with a bow and arrow. His son talks him into letting him in and shoots him dead because he couldn't bare to see him like that. In The Practice, the character is just a dude, not the mayor, but he does shoot someone in the head and kills him, his daughter's boyfriend. The eponymous practice must defend him in court.Exact same situation. In both. Dementia. Adult diapers. Rocking horse. Repetition of the phrase "ready? …and go!" while riding it. Someone getting shot in the head. Kelley's a hack.
