>>22124373- no one knows their secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices
>>22124386I actually have a copy from the 1970’s, my uncle stole it from KFC. It’s nothing special, my chicken seasoning is better.
>>22124373They should put that in the advertising instead
No one wants to recreate modern day KFC
>>22124408post it
>>22124373>KFC - why you can't recreate it at homeI present to you KFC that you can make at home.this IS KFC's batter. you're welcome.
>>22124579you're going to regret this
>>22124408KFC have changed their recipe al little, besides graces does not print their ingredients list lol!
>>22124386there are people that believe it's just salt and pepper
>>22124373>why you can't recreate it at homebecause it's pressure cooked, not fried.
>>22124579Useful. Spices...
I think the pertinent issue is KFC really kinda sucks so why would anyone want to recreate it at home?
>>22124373KFC in the UK is good. I recreated it at home and it was kind of average. Used the 11 herbs and spices with some msg.I decided as a joke to dump a cosmic shit ton of msg into the mix and then tasted that tender and by god I can not fucking lie when I say this but it was god damn identical to KFC.
>>22124865This. It gives me the runs. I haven’t eaten KFC in years.
KFC is fine and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Chik fil a is way too sweet, Bojangles sucks, theres no other real options. If you want fried chicken without all the mess and bullshit KFC is probably your best bet. Now back to your regularly scheduled npc contrarianism.
>>22125465it would be fine if they prepared it correctly but I stopped buying it years ago because the quality had gone to shit.
>>22125514what country is thatI used to really like their pork ribs
>>22125465Why don't you just go to a normal local chicken shack like a normal person?
You can buy a pressure fryer in Amazon. They're 1000 dollars but honestly if you have a decent job and youre a culinary enthusiast that's not even a lot of money for a unique appliance. My blender was 500 dollars.
>>22125654aren't they a bit dangerous to use - pressure fryers?
>>22125654What kind of blender? A Vitamix? Is it actually worth it? My ninja was $200 and it's great but I have wondered about the Vitamix. Also what the hell else would you even put in the pressure fryer though.
>>22125682I like my 500 dollar Vitamix, I like my thousand dollar ice cream maker, my thousand dollar spiral mixer, my thousand dollar pizza oven, and my thousand dollar rice cooker. Unironically just don't be poor Actually of that list only the Vitamix and the rice cooker aren't worth over a thousand dollars so with them in the list everything averages about a thousand dollars but most of that is over 1200 per thing.
>>22125690yes and you're promoting pressure fryers and you don't even have one.Just buy KFC bruh
>>22125713that guy isn't me. yes I like my vitamix but no I don't think it's much better than a 100 dollar ninja. maybe like 20% but I'm just guessing. it also overheats easily and shuts off for 45 minutes if it overheats.
I think we can all agree that poor quality cooking utens and equipment is basically not worth it
>>22125801YikesThat'll be $500 sir
>>22124373You could. you can't just traditionally deep fry it though. I thought kfc used a special pressure cooker that wouldn't explode to fry it.
>>22125681No
>>22125644I don't want to get a weird Mexican disease
>>22125654Or you could just not be a pussy and fry in a pressure cooker.
>>22125465>Bojangles sucksbest chicken in the game you’re literally out of your mind. they also have a country fried steak biscuit which is banging and nobody else doing that.
>>22126928What is the deal with anons being so scared of pressure cookers? People have been using them for hundreds of years and the ones now are safer than ever.
>>22126939I’m retarded nigga. I fuck up everything. I just know I would somehow kill myself with a pressure cooker.
>>22126933>>22126939>People have been using them for hundreds of years and the ones now are safer than ever.with oil?
>>22124373You can make the original 70's recipe at home, it leaked years ago.
>>22126939
>>22127010I hope that wasnt one of the $500 ones.just saying
>>22127010They didn't even have any of the ingredients in the pot yet, or there would be food splattered everywhere
>>22127010seriously how does that happen>>22125654does your thousand bucks stop this kind of thing sister?
>>22127050there is stuff all over the ceiling and what looks like a piece of meat to the left of the pot
>>22124408>my chicken seasoning is betterI highly doubt that
>>22126933You can get steak biscuits from biscuit world and the gravy is 1000x better than poorjangles' slop
>>22126928I don't think you can fry in a pressure cooker. The pressure relief valve has a spring in it that depressed at a certain pressure that is probably well below the required pressure for frying. (source is my ass but I work with pressure relief valves at work and they're literally just springs)>>22127044it's not. you can tell that one is just one that locks by turning the lid. the expensive ones have looks 6 knobs in top that individually lock a point of the lid.>>22127076if the pressure relief valve or petcock get completely clogged with food or otherwise become inoperable the pressure can climb to dangerous levels. the expensive pressure cookers have a pressure gauge on top so you can visually see how high the pressure is and can tell immediately of its malfunctioning
>>22127044forgot to include image
>>22125654>My blender was 500 dollars.i got mine for 99p
>>22124373technically it's not chicken
>>22125465Bojangles can be great. Problem is the franchise stores tend to be poorly ran and bo's corporate apparently doesn't give a damn as long as the checks clear.
