Yep. First time i went to the US in 2007 they had the 5 dollar footlongs and i had one right next door to my hotel. And back then their ingredients weren't garbage either so I ate them almost every day for 3 weeks.

Yep and they also had the "Sub Club" card. You got a stamp for every sub you bought, and when you got 8, you turned in the card and got a free sub. If you became cool with the workers, they would sometimes hook you up with a couple free stamps once in awhile.
Without the $5 footlong deal there is literally no reason to go to Subway

Their Italian seasoning is so good. I don't know why they never just slapped a label on it and sold it in stores. I know it's just oregano, basil, whatever but there's had a unique taste. Maybe a little msg

I complained when they stopped making a seafood special footlong that went over $2.99. It was the 80s though so most of that was my coke money. Seriously though, I want a seafood sub footlong for $2.99 again. 5 dollars is still too expensive. Can get like 5 double cheeseburgers for that.
