We need more rich people threads. I've had enough of this poverty shit.
>>22126603Go away Richie Rich
>>22126593monster
>>22126593Download the apps for every restaurant in your area. On any given day there's a chance at least one of them is offering a good deal, not to mention the birthday freebies.
>>22126748Exactly.Don't cook. Don't do anything for yourself.Just install the apps.Use the McFucking app
>>22126763It's often cheaper to buy a hot meal. Like Costco's $5 rotisserie chicken or their $1.50 hotdog and soda combo.I did forget to mention that grocery stores often discount their baked goods and fruit that are near spoilage. At this point is basically the main reason I visit a grocery store, other than using their app coupons and weekly deals.
>>22126593looks like she's ready to settle down
>>22126603Yup. Had this a couple weeks ago. Admittedly, yes, it's not too expensive here, but it was good.
>>22126605Go away poverty mc poverface. My suggestion to you is to get a job sir. The bums lost. The bums will always lose.
>>22126593>>22126782Why is it that Americans only make these threads, yet they call people in europe - europoors????Have you EVER seen a European make these threads complaining about food prices? I have been on /ck/ for eons and NEVER seen one (no doubt someone will now LARP and create one).Even the likes of:>>22126603>>22126823Tell lies and pretend they are wealthy . . . . .why would they be in this thread otherwise? Sad.
>>22126850I'm Brazilian not American
>>22126865>I'm Brazilian not AmericanSame thing
>>22126603The americas are in a new era great depression (and refuses to acknowledge it) and need cheaper and cheaper meals to live.
>>22126593>lentilsI will never be desperate enough to eat this bullshit
>>22126935It's delicious
>>22126850I don't have enough money to buy food at full price, but I do have an ac unit.
>>22127192>but I do have an ac unit.Get your priorities right and one day you could afford an electric kettle.
cucumbers are cheap as fuck right now
>>22126935they’re just beans
>>22126603Rich people food is just overpriced poor people food.
>>22127272Hardly. Rich people don't eat ramen.
>>22126603Rich people don't cook.
>>22127454>Caviar>Sweetbreads>Oxtail>SardinesTheres 4 examples of formerly poor people food that are now considered high class/haute cuisine. You can get ramen thats 50$+ a bowl at high end places. You arent rich. And if you are, money clearly cant buy intelligence
>>22126782No those are outliers. Most hot meals are more expensive than the standard overprocessed shit on shelves or food you prepare yourself. The 1.50 hot dog and 5$ chicken are loss leaders - the stores dont usually make a profit off of them, theyre there to entice customers. Buying the ingredients to make chili would be much cheaper than buying a can of it; you would wind up with way more chili than the one can after you prepared a big pot of it.
Chicken breast is $1.79 sometimes a pound. I've seen ground beef in chubs down to $3.99. Corned beef brisket was $1.99 for point cuts and 2.49 for flats around St. PATRICKS day. Pork ribs spare $2.49 just recently around the 4th of July. Baby back a little more. Ribeye roast $4.99 last Christmas. Spiral sliced single glazed 89c a pound now and then. Just get a freezer and you'll do great and eat nutritious food instead some of the trash like potatos, pasta, rice, polenta and certain beans on that list. Just because you want to be thrifty doesn't mean you should sacrifice your health.
>>22127510>Fatty meats>Eat healthyPick one.
>>22127515Wrong. Stop poisoning yourself with grains.
>>22127518Wrong again, I don't eat grains.
>>22127515Dietary fat is good for you.
>>22127528Most of this know this these days. The old folks with their minds stuck in the 80s will never figure it out.
