I went to a public school in rural California and we had decent food with a salad and fruit bar every day. Then we moved to rural Tennessee and we were fed basically what you see in the OP. No pink milk though. It was then that I developed my hatred for Southerners. They are a slave caste that cannot even comprehend their chains. They hated Michelle Obama for wanting children to eat vegetables that weren't fried in lard.
