>Get Drunk on Straight Whiskey
>End up crawling in shower shaking with numb feeling, racing thoughts, and upset stomach
>Feel like death the next day and go sober for a week
>Drink too much Red Wine
>I feel quite exquisite in this medieval castle dinning room, I do say sir
>Feel like a skeleton drain of blood next day but drink more in the afternoon

Stay safe and hydrated OP

>drink any liquor
>barely buzzed for 3 hours then all of a sudden blacked out
>drink beer and champagne
>pleasantly intoxicated the whole way
>>
>>22128851
>>22128885
>i don't feel as bad when i consume less alcohol
brilliant
>>
>>22128851
Drink any alcohol, get buzzed.
Drink more to keep the buzz going.
Then drink more and more.
Drink until all the alcohol is gone or I blackout and throw up.
>>
>>22128885
A standard pour of liquor contains less alcohol than a beer or standard glass of wine. You sound like a retard/college student who drinks gulps of liquor like it's a beer.
Spirits are supposed to be savoured with small sips over a long period. Though obviously it will be difficult to do this with cheap bottom shelf nail varnish.
>>
when I drink any amount of alcohol I feel like there are needles being stabbed into my neck right below my ears. is this normal?
>>
>>22128916
No, a shot of liquor is exactly the same amount of alcohol as a beer or glass of wine. And how they are "supposed to be savored" is completely subjective anyway.
>>
Alcohol is a terrible toxin that no one should consume.
>>
>drink two steelies
>not enough
>speed towards gas station on borrowed scooter
>buy two steelies

>drink two steelies

what a fuckin gyp
>>

>No, a shot of liquor is exactly the same amount of alcohol as a beer or glass of wine
Only 40 ml shots equal 0.33l beer.
>>
>>22128851
Every time I got drunk on wine it led to me blacking out, shit goes down way to easy.
For some reason I can pace myself with liquor, and I love the burn. Makes me feel fuzzy inside. Best thing to get drunk off is still beer though, it is easier to pace since there is a physical limit to how quickly you can drink.
>>
>>22128903
yeah this is my problem. I don't want to be buzzed. I want to race last a buzz until I'm falling down. and then black out.
>>
>>22128851
Pro tip: also drink an energy drink. Has be vitamins and lakes you less sleepy when drinking
>>
>>22128916
>who drinks gulps of liquor like it's a beer.
I’m not even capable of this
>Spirits are supposed to be savoured with small sips over a long period
I’ll let you know when I’m pretentious enough to babysit a glass of scotch. until then I’m just drinking for intoxication.
>>
>>22129018
>Best thing to get drunk off is still beer though, it is easier to pace since there is a physical limit to how quickly you can drink.
also: needing to have a piss all the fucking time puts a hampering on the intake
unless you drink while blasting piss, of course

i prefer wine
makes me piss a bit less
>>
>>22128973
Whatever. 1 ounce or however much a shot is is the same as 12 oz of 5% ABV beer and 5 oz of 12% wine. They've been teaching this for 50 years. It's not an exact science, it's just a round number that works.
>>
also puking whiskey tastes like death while wine isnt so bad
>>
fuck tannin
>>
you "people" fucking disgust me
>>
going in to the rheumatologist for what i know will be a gout diagnosis in a couple of weeks. i already cut down from four bottles of liquor per week down to a single one after my first flare up last week. hope that + allo is enough to keep me from becoming a cripple.
>>
>>22129067
Wines nice, but I usually overdrink when I go out and I don't feel like it's fitting to order in a bar. Plus the aforementioned blacking out thing.
>>
>>22128851
>Straight Whiskey
what do you mean by Straight Whiskey? Do you mean Straight Whiskey or straight whiskey?
>>
>>22129199
The opposite of gay whiskey, duh
>>
>>22129153
god yea
uhhuuurghk
i mean, throwing up wine is bad, but definitely better than brown spirits

>Drink a cup of wine
>Get a mild buzz because I'm not a retard alcoholic
>Don't drink anymore and let the buzz fade because I don't need to get blackout drunk to be happy
>Feel perfectly fine afterwards and the next day
Feels good
>>
>>22128896
You have no idea what you're talking about, drinklet.
>>
>>22129218
>I'm not a retard alcoholic
you should try it, it's insanely fun
>I don't need to get blackout drunk to be happy
that's what you think
>>
>>22129058
Ah, I remember being 19.
>>
>>22128851
I like white wine drunk, not easy to do back-to-back or else the acid reflux will get you
>>
>>22129218
Even better when you can pair the wine with food.
>>
>>22128851
Decided to hang em up regarding drinking. I will say wine is the only form of booze I miss from time to time. A nice white with fish or red with some steak or pasta.
>>
>>22129075
1*0.4=0.4
12*0.05=0.6
So 3 shots equal 2 beers. Being 50% off is not "rounding" but just wrong.

>15 minutes later black out

Red Wine is a fraction the alcohol content of whiskey. I consider myself a light weight but I have to make myself chug wine to feel drunk. I lived in the Caribbean for a couple years and they have something called VSR made locally, it's 84.5% ABV. I drank about 3 shots back to back one night and the worst thing that happened was I vomited in the toilet and went back to bed, and in the morning had a runny nose. I genuinely don't understand how people get alcohol poisoning without trying to die.
>>
For me, it’s Sagrantino; high in anti-oxidants that help curb the inflammatory effects of alcohol.
>>
>>22128851
How about this novel idea:
Don't drink!
>>
>>22129325
>how people get alcohol poisoning without trying to die.
either by being a diehard alcoholic, to the point where you need to drink loads just to feel a mild buzz, or by being an underweight woman.
>>
>drink enough to get terrible hangover
>drink enough to throw up
>never been black-out drunk
Do I just need to drink more? I don't know how people do it, I'd feel like death if I drank any more than that
>>
>>22129220
i know exactly what i'm talking about
>>
>>22129593
it can happen when you continue drinking after you throw up
>>
>>22129708
Sounds terrible
>>
Malvasia Bianca
>>
>>22129593
drink alot very fast.
>>
>>22129593
I almost never get drunk before the excruciating headache so I gave up for the most part
>>
I don't know whether it's passing out or falling asleep but it happens almost every time I drink, but I have only thrown up once. wine specifically always makes me black out and type retarded shit and end up with it spilled all over my desk and the floor
>>
>>22128934
It's your salivary glands going fucking wild. It'll go away. Unless you actually have an allergy. Shut up and drink more.
>>
>>22128851
I got some brandy for cooking and tried a little bit. It tasted sweet. Is this normal?
>>
>>22130660
no that means it's rotten and the mold that causes sweetness also causes botulism and tetanus so you're probably going to die
>>
>>22130660
Many brandies can use a little bit of sugar . Up to 3%. It's usually found in cheap ones. Also brandy has some floral notes you can associate with sweet things. Same with people who claim rum is sweet because it's made from sugar although dry ones like Jamaican rums contain no sugar.
>>
>>22130677
Thanks anon. It wasn't expensive but it was also a 500ml bottle so I was really hoping I'd found a good spot for quality/price

>>22130666
oh noes!
>>
>>22129593
First of all don't do it, it's not fun.

But it seems to differ from person to person, some people black out while they are still somewhat coherent, I have only blacked out once and I was drunk enough that I could barely speak or walk and later on passed out on the pavement
>>
>>22130683
>good spot for quality/price
Buy some young cognac. It has the best flavour profile and is mostly even specifically called for. Even the cheapest stuff (although still reltively pricey) is still decent. You could also try armagnac as a cheaper substitute. It's very close to cognac.
>>
>>22130767
Yeah might be worth a look. Thanks.
>>
>>22128851
you just need to drink 24/7 and eat food. virtually no hangover and you become very pleasant to be around. buhy an alcometer and keep it at 0.7-1.0 at all times
