what is the best canned chilli I heard picrel is good is it true ?could I just dump it in a crock pot heat it up and serve it and no one will know it's canned chilli reheated ?best canned chilli cooking methods ?
>>22130808I haven't had the Wendys canned chili, but overall, Stagg chilli is the best canned chilli I have had. As far as nobody knowing...I have never had canned that tasted anywhere near as good as freshly prepared.
>>22130808I can't answer your first question as I do not eat canned chilli that often. However, for your second question. Yes you could reheat it in a crock pot. Id rather use a pot on the stove, but more power to you. Though I would not be disingenuous and try to pass it off as my own chilli.
it's canned chili for Christ Sakesthey're all fine, stop being a penis wrinkle
Wolfs chili is the best because I'm a wolfgirl.
>>22130808Cattle Drive is good for a ground beef chili, had some today with rice
>>22130808canned chili is a crime against god
>2 cans of shredded chicken>2 cans of black beans>2 cans of mild green chilies>2 cans of diced tomatoesBetter than any canned chili, and it all still comes from a can.
>>22130808I cant speak to the chili but I see "Wendy's" hamburgers in the store and they're just unfrozen 4 packs of 1/4 lb patties with zero additional ingredients. Its a pound of ground beef for 3$ more than a pound of ground beef because it comes in squares
>>22130808It's garbage. I've had it, it's mostly liquid and there's barely any meat. Just a very salty tomato soup with beans and sprinkle of desiccated ground beef.>>22130887There is a surprising range in quality. I didn't think so until I actually tried the Wendy's branded one which made me realize how shitty it could get. Pic related is the best tasting one I've had out of a can and it's not even beef.
>>22130808I have a soft spot for Weinerschnitzel chili specifically as a topping. You can buy it canned from them at the counter
>>22130808I will never buy Wendy’s slop
>>22130808I've tried a lot of canned chilis and I haven't found one that I disliked yet. The Wendy's one is a bit too watery for my taste and the baconator version tastes a bit bastardized on top of that.TLDR, you can't go wrong... unless you're concerned with peppery heat, in which case every single one of them falls short.
>>22130887>for Christ SakesI hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.
>>22130808If you're just going to dump it in a crock pot and serve it why don't you just make actual chili? That's literally all you do, but with several cans of tomato, bean and pepper products instead (plus meat). You don't even have to measure spice you could just buy a 50 cent chili packet. It's literally the same effort but with the addition of searing a pan of ground beef. This is the base recipe I use, I make it every 2 weeks or when the crock pot empties.www.eatingonadime.com/wendys-chili-recipe

>>22130808This stuff was so disappointing. Tastes literally nothing like Wendy's chili. Just random slop chili with a Wendy's logo slapped on it so goyim will buy.
>>22133138How is it allowed?
>>22130808canned chili is packed with sodium. I eat huge portions so my chili has got to be beans, no meat, no sodium.I sweeten it with aspartame to make it taste good.
Unfortunately [as much as I HATE to burst your bubble] there is no such thing as canned chili. Even chili from Wendy's tastes like tomato soup. You will have to roll up your sleeves, rediscover the recipes of our granddads, and re-create the wonderful taste of this storied Tex-Mex dish.
>>22133192anything in a can is packed with sodium for preservationthey care more about preserving their product than preserving the future continuation of your heart
>>22133210My supermarket sells canned tomato products without salt added. I add those to my beans along with spices, simmer, and eat.
>>22133138supposedly, in store chili has the left over patties that didn't sell that day. so it's got more protein and flavor
>>22132121>adding even more carbs to carbsJesus fuck you're a fatass.

>>22130808I enjoy making my own chili but for stuff to keep in the pantry for emergencies or lazy days I like Stagg. Ironically I think Stagg's best chili is their vegetarian recipe, they spiced it differently to make up for the lack of meat. Unfortunately it's been hard to find lately.
>>22132782>jack linksthey make more than pepperoni sticks?>>22133232id love to know whos buying them because im seeing them in more and more stores since last year
>>22130808Wendeez nuts hit your chin
>>22133436I’m buying them
>>22133233Canned beef tastes off. Also, eat shit and die shitskin.
>>22132782Jack Link's one contains soy filler in the "meat" (just like their other "meat" products). The Wendy's one surprisingly doesn't.But the Wendy's one is made by Conagra who make almost all canned food in America and they just pay Wendy's to use their logo to justify the price. So it's a literal scam product. I've had it, yes it's garbage. I've never had the Jack Link's one but I assume it's even worse. Although I do respect that the actual company is putting out an unexpected product line as opposed to simply licensing their brand to whoever.
>>22133141Using the Wendy's logo on a can of chili doesn't explicitly suggest that the can contains the same chili a Wendy's restaurant would serve. Of course it is intended to imply that - that's the whole point. But legally they are just paying to use the Wendy's logo on their bad canned chili. It is easily defensible because there are so many other products that did/do the same.
>>22130808I needed some crappy fast-food, in a hurry. Hormel chunky-style chili goes pretty well on hotdogs with red onion. I wouldn't really use it or eat it for any other reason.
>>22130911I unironically pity you and feel bad for your parents.
>>22130808I was trying to find the best canned chili for chili dogs recently and I tried Skyline which I have never had before: I really enjoyed the flavor, but it was much more expensive than the competitors and was way too watery to work well on a chili dog. I think if you reduced it some in a pot it would be perfect, but then that's even more work for less volume on top of it already being expensive
>>22133682Skyline was great when it was cheap but it became a meme at some point and got stupid expensive and now it's not worthwhile.
