I hate loaded nachos.
I like all the things in it independently, and i like crispy chips, but with loaded nachos all the chips end up getting soggy and by the time anyone is at the end you're left with soggy cold chips in a mess of stuff.
Id rather have hot chips and on the side a bunch of stuff to dip it into in a bowl. So the chips never get soggy and the stuff stays hot longer.
I do feel like im usually the only one with this opinion when people get loaded nachos though.
Anyone else?

I actually agree. I loved them as a kid, mostly for the novelty, but, as an adult, I can't fucking stand them. I like my nachos unadulterated with a variety of things to dip them in.

So you just want chips then?
>>

This is how I used to order my Nachos Bell Grande. I'd have them put all the toppings in the container, and get the chips on the side. That way, you can reheat the toppings if you need to and the chips don't get soggy

They're fine with just cheese on them

Kek look at this babby nacho eater

Nachos ARE the chips.

I enjoy that point right when the chips have been coated in things long enough that they still have some of their crisp, but are also flexible too. But that is also best achieved by having the stuff on the side and just parking the chip in it for a little bit.

I used to hate stuff like that, and found the idea of poutine gross. I think at some point I tired of perfectly crispy nachos and fries and grew fond of that.

oh right, only small portions or large groups. If you use good cheese it simply won't be as nice 20 min later so keep portion sizes small enough.
>>
>>22131170
If you get them with a group as an appetizer they are usually all gone before they have the chance to get gross. I don't mean to say this to imply you are friendless or whatever, I just mean eating big piles of shit should be a group activity because physics will outpace your ability to eat it solo. If you are at home just make little piles of shit until you aren't hungry anymore!

>i hate soggy tortilla chips
me too, and I accidentally discovered that if I make my own they stay crisp under the fully loaded treatment. it's more work but it pays off in the end

they 100% jacked off into your nacho cheese

The only time ive ever had loaded nachos is with a group of people. And every time there's a point where the chips are soggy and cold and soft. I have never gotten them just for myself or ever suggested the group im with gets them.

The original nachos were very simple.
Just pickled jalapeno and cheese on tortilla crisps, with some salsa on the side.
Up until recently, the restaurant Chili's still served them like this (picrel)

Picrel: OG Nachos @ Chili's
(I heard they have been pulled from the menu recently. RIP)

Shit, those look like a good version of loaded nachos
>>
I expand my hate to all corn and corn products, but yes, nachos are the most egregiously disgusting slop
>>
that is because you don't use el milagro tortilla chips. they are so crispy, that even when you nuke them in the microwave with cheese, etc, they retain their crispiness.

Nachos are not chips. Nachos have stuff on them. You are thinking of Doritoes.
