people be clowning on it but pb&j is for real one of the best foods ever invented
>>
>>22131731
can stacking a few different foods on top of each other really be called an invention?
>>
>>22131731
You ever put chips inside yours?
>>
>>22131734
Yes
>>
>>22131734
Would you tell Elvis that a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich was not an invention?

if you really want to up your peanut paste & pectin game make it a double
>>
>>22131731
literally makes me have to take a sh*t
>>
>>22131731
The trick is to use jam and not jelly. Preserves work too, but marmalade is right out,.

PB&J move aside, the Fluffernutter has entered the room.
>>
Sorry, a sandwich can never be mostly sweet. That goes for japanese sandos too.
A sandwich is meat/cheese+some veggie+some sauce+bread.
>>
>>22132164
as a new englander it shames me that I have not only never had a Fluffernutter but I've never even tried marshmallow fluff :[
>>
>>22131731
My special is buttering the bread before the pb and j. Nothing like it.
>>
>>22132196
True. I like toasting it a bit too so it's all gooey.

When I was a kid I used to make peanut butter sandwiches with these in the morning. After I heated up the waffled the peanut butter got all melty and great. It was marvelous.
>>
>>22131731
I honestly feel bad for you and anyone else who holds that opinion.
>>
>>22132211
Thats sad anon. Get well soon.
>>
>>22132252
What's sad is that your idea of "best food ever" is made with not only sugary jam, but peanut butter and bread that are loaded with sugar for no reason whatsoever other than to make them hyperpalatable for children and child-like adults. The corporations that make this garbage have no interest in making a quality product, they have no interest in anything other than profit.
It's disgusting on multiple levels.
In a literal sense, if you condition your palate with real food and then taste this crap you'd understand. It's practically candy, more of a dessert than a meal.
In a moral sense because the megacorps have none.
And also in a different moral sense because these corporations are who my fellow countrymen and our ancestors have elected with our wallets to lead us culturally. Rather than feeling nostalgia for homecooked meals using real ingredients that our parents and grandparents cooked for us in our childhood, we feel nostalgic for some crap that advertising firms sold to our parents. It's as far away from real food as they're allowed to make it, it's as cheap as it can be, it's as bad as they can get away with.
I think that everyone who's been conditioned to believe that this is normal needs to get well.
And if eating garbage and feeding my kids garbage means I'm unwell, I don't want to be well.
>>
>>22132166
peanut butter is not sweet

>>22132171
they aren't good. I bought a jar of fluff to try out fluffernutters and ended up using the fluff for something else because it's just not a good sandwich.
>>
>>22132279
And if not* eating garbage and feeding my kids garbage means I'm unwell, I don't want to be well.
>>
>>22132286
>they aren't good.
I honestly cannot even fathom any way those could be good. maybe for tubby 8yr olds and even that's a maybe
>>
>>22131943
all food does that
>>
>>22132279
relax fatty its just a sandwich
>>
I'm gonna make a peanut paste & pectin sandwich on soft rye within the hour. I will report back with commentary and photos. I feel a nostalgia bent coming
>>
>>22131731
Do amerilards really not toast their bread beforehand? Is that why all of their arteries are clogged? Eating untoasted white bread is like eating an unseasoned potato
>>
>>22132332
I heard amerifats are so gluttonous they have 4 times the food at their grocery stores and have to ride around on scooters to shop. They don't even pay for a license to drive them its insane.
>>
>>22132164
>as a pitch black nigger I feel pride having not only had multiple Fluffernutters but I also just ate a jar of marshmallow fluff :]
>>
>>22132279
Sorry I didn't read your blog post. Sorry you're so upset or whatever this was about.

It's good bros. Back when I was in kindergarten my mother used to make me pbjs for lunch and I would eat them while watching Mister Rogers. The rye I have today isn't the same as the white sandwich bread I grew up on but still a huge nostalgia hit
>>
>>22132334
I heard Europeans feed their babies formula thats 50% sugar by weight
>>
>>22132343
This is an American stereotype, nice try.
>>
>>22131731
true, pretty hightier uncooked food.
>>
>>22132345
You can look it up but OK bro
>>
>>22132347
>jam is cooked
>bread is baked
>peanuts are roasted
there's no part of this that isn't cooked anon
>>
>>22132314
I'm almost certainly less of a fatty than you, lmao. It's a sandwich that represents my culture that got raped and spit on.
>>22132341
>I didn't read
I'm willing to bet that's a common theme in your life.
>>
>>22132353
Sorry you're so upset
>>
>>22132356
Are you really?
>>
>>22132353
You almost certainly aren't, since you don't even have this self-control to not have a meltdown over a sandwich.
>>
>>22132359
Yeah, I feel really bad for you.
>>
>>22132360
>meltdown
By this I guess you mean "strong opinion that takes more than one or two sentences to express".
>>22132364
Because I believe that people should eat real food and I had a few minutes to waste professing that belief in a 4chan post?
>>
>>22132376
Because you're so upset, like I said twice. Try to keep up.
>>
>>22132342
Beautiful
>>
>>22132279
Sugar is good for you, not bad at all, especially if it's buffered by the fiber in fruits. Fat is the problem. Peanut butter is 50% fat and that is extremely unhealthy and slows digestion, etc. We need low-fat, and low-protein diets. High-carbohydrate, unrefined diets are the healthiest. Essentially high starch diets are the gold standard.
>>
>>22132286
>they aren't good
Is the blame more on the fluffer than the nutter?
>>
>>22132353
im 6 ft 175 fatso. im sorry for what the pb&j did to you
>>
>>22131731
>people be clowning on it but pb&j is for real
nigger talk. make a new thread with proper English and I will respond with a relevant comment
>>
>>22131731
quite true.
>>
I wonder if peanut butter and dulce de leche would be good
>>
>>22133677
yes because pb on toast is great but pb and marshmallow on toast is retarded and just serves to dilute the pb
>>
>>22132342
> Rye pbj
Sounds very interesting, would
Looks like a lovely little sandwich
