I've been taking this every single day like 4 tablespoons to try to lower my blood pressure and I haven't pooped in 3 days but I'm sure it'll pass. I'm kinda tired of drinking the stuff what's some recipes I can use this in that won't taste like ass?
>>
>>22133708
>4 tablespoons a day for 3 days
Jesus wept, (assuming this isn’t bait) go to a doctor before you die from impacted colon
>>
>>22133708
Bruh
Nothing. Especially if it’s flavored orange.
I was trying to make a meatball-type thing that was nutrient dense because i was super ill and needed lowest effort full nutrition.
I added some of this stuff to them and they were disgusting. The flavor became overwhelmingly sickly sweet orange.
Thinking about it makes me queasy desu.

Drink more water, like triple the water you normally drink. That might help with the poo situation. Is that even the right type of fiber for lowering blood pressure?
>>
>>22133720
Actually I've been combining it with benefiber but not every day because I'm not sure which one helps blood pressure
>>
>>22133726
Anon-kun!!! Don’t do that, and drink more water. How much water do you drink?
>>
>>22133728
I drink lots of water I'm not in pain or anything I just want to find a better way to get more fiber in my diet besides drinking the stuff
>>
Maybe drink a bunch of coconut water. Or take some coconut oil.
Coconut is both a laxative and a lubricant!
>>
>>22133733
Just eat more nuts, whole grains, fruit, etc. The main reason people have issues with fiber is because they're eating vegetable oil and white flour and white sugar instead of whole foods with fiber.
>>
>>22133708
That doesn't sound right. You're drinking water too, right? A sponge doesn't work when it's dry.
--And I don't just mean a glass or three throughout the day.
>>
>>22133708
This stuff tastes really good sipped between sips of coffee or taken as a chaser after an espresso
>>
I doubt you have an impaction because you've be in terrible pain but you may take the largest and most painful shit of your life. Also I've never heard of fiber lowering blood pressure. It lowers blood sugar by delaying the digestion of nutrients.
>>
>>22133733
If you haven’t pooed in three days that doesn’t really make sense. Constipation doesn’t hurt in the beginning lol
Either way, cool it on the supplements and eat more vegetables.
Peas, beans, avocado, peanuts/nuts are great sources of fiber.
>>
>>22133735
I hate coconut water so fucking much...
>hey anon try this stuff!!
>*shit myself the next day
>>
>>22133708
>impacted colon
it's likely op already had this and made his problem worse because, as usual, he's a retard.
>>
You’re supposed to have 1 - 1 and a half teaspoons, 3 times a day.
>>
>>22133806
>You’re supposed to have 1 - 1 and a half teaspoons
What?
>>
You idiots will try anything except eat a salad. And before you try and derail
>Salads give explosive diarrhea these days anon a bloo bloo
Buy the Taylor Farms salad kits, they're fine. I've had 2 this past week. Google it, they're fine. Stop trying to shortcut your way to health and just build the regular habits that we all know work: diet and exercise. SALADS. Fucking children yes of course you're gonna be backed up eating compacted salt and fat for your whole life and then spoonfuls of fiber like you're trying to speed run your way back to health. HABITS. Not shortcuts. Eat a god damn salad!
>>
>>22133708
>I haven't pooped in 3 days
Who's gonna tell him?
>>
>>22133828
Salads suck. I'd rather eat my greens cooked.
>>
>>22133845
Mazel tov anon, that's fine. Eat your greens however you like!

I'm sorry OP but it's already too late to save you. make sure your affairs are in order
>>
>>22133828
>eat salad
>6 grams of fiber at most
Okay how do you get 30 grams every day from that
>>
>>22133828
salad is 98% water, thats not doing anything
>>
>>22133865
Greens are like little spiny pipe cleaners for your intestines. Water and fiber content are just long words that people get lost in the weeds on. Metamucil is more like a big sponge you can force through the pipes after it enlarges with enough water like those kiddie mini dinosaurs. In the end, you're just trying to scrape the pipes clean.
>>
>>22133868
I'll scrape your pipes clean for free, sweetheart
>>
>>22133869
Don't think you can get all the way up there, but my prostate could use a little tune-up doc.
>>
I used to be fat and I loved taking giant shits from eating so much. Then I lost weight but I would always miss the big shits until I found out about psyllium husk. I drink a big glass of it in the morning and I always have to take a shit around 2pm. I love it.
>>
>>22133909
What sort of bulk are you getting in your shits?
Mine have been quite thin and long recently, I’d really like to drop some girthy bog blockers.
>>
>>22133924
They're pretty bulky. I almost always fill up the bowl to the point that it's 50% shit/50% water or greater, but keep in mind this is a combination of the psyllium husk plus food. I also eat a lot of vegetables. Costco has this "fire roasted vegetable melange" stuff thats really good. I put a big pile of that with some chicken tendies on top in the air fryer. I've found that if I dont eat much or not at all that I get long skinny shits from just the psyllium husk. That might be your problem if you're relying on just the psyllium without other food to round out your shit.
>>
>>22133934
Thanks man.
I’ll give it a go.
Will post results.
>>
OP here slight update I still haven't crapped but I drank 4 shots of espresso with my cereal this morning so hopefully that will get things moving feeling awful farty

Additional update I have passed what will be called in future generations the godshit

>Post espresso tummy starts grumbling fiercely
>Sounds like the trenches of world war I complete with flyover aircraft
>10 minutes pass complete with loud as fuck farts
>Suddenly a force arrives at my asshole like a battering ram at the gates of gondor
>Pinch my ass cheeks together and grab a towel from the laundry pile because I know this is going to be a shower job
>Cheeks meet seat.. nothing
>Push.. nothing.. grit my teeth and push harder risking an embolism
>Mfw.gif
>Fucking Saturn V sized turd launches unceremoniously from my depths
>It stops mid log like a spear stuck in the ground
>I have to fucking STAND UP so the log can pass all the way out
>Shits literally so fibrous it won't break in half it's like a god damn corn cob
>It fucking TOUCHES THE RIM
>Have to saw it into quarters with the beehive shaped plunger so it'll flush
>Cry in the shower

Fuck man I've learned my lesson that sucked but was also kinda cool at the same time I feel amazing now.

>>22134125
Psyllium is amazing, life-changing, really, but you should try taking one heaping tablespoon per day and drinking plenty of water.
You'll have normal, soft, easy to pass daily shits if you do that.
>>
Larps used to be funny sometimes, now they’re just always sad and pathetic.

One entire bag of Taylor Farms salad kit is about 7-8 grams of fiber. One can of beans is about 16-17 grams of fiber. So that's 24 grams of fiber in one huge salad and it is a filling meal. That's a big lunch. Add cheese, add seasonings to it, hell, add nonfat Greek yogurt to the dressing to bulk it up with protein. Volume eat salads. Anyway that's 24+ grams of fiber in one meal. Yes the beans do a lot of the heavy lifting. So what? Add beans to everything. Picrel is pinto beans I soaked overnight, added on diced onions, some vegan chorizo, some leftover cooked beef (not vegan), whatever the fuck else, into the slow cooker for 6 hours on low. At the last 39 minutes I'm gonna add a whole ass bag of frozen spinach.
You guys make it sound SO hard.

>>
>>22133868
you gotta eat something that actually contains fibre
carrots
beets
anything brassica
legumes
paprika
>>
>>22133718
>impacted colon
NTA. I nearly had that once. Due to shift work my body just refused to poop for nearly 4 days. And then while at work it decided to finally evacuate my bowels. Nearly lost consciousness and almost ended up in A&E. Spent an hour on the porcelain seat. Could continue working after that though, which was very surprising.
>>
>>22134176
nigga ur job suxxxx hella ass bruh i take a shit workin graveyard like 3 times a night lmao
>>
>>22133708
are you at least increasing your water intake with all that fiber?
>>
>>22133828
chia seeds and a high quality whole wheat bread are much better sources of fiber than leafy greens
