There's plenty of talk about the best, most overrated, and most underrated cuisines, but which ones are just the worst? Russian food is definitely up there.

Sure, pasta is way overrated -- starch with some sauce dumped on it, but you can get ninety different shapes of starch, such wow -- but then they also have lots of seafood dishes, beef dishes, le heckin' chicken parm and eggplant parm, and so on and so on and so on. It's MUCH more varied than just Endless Pasta At Olive Garden.There's a fantastic wop place named "La Buca" near Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok (go out the back of the hospital, through the parking garage, to Sukhumvit Soi 1 and turn left, go a couple of blocks). I hope the elderly wop who started the place is still doing well. He's trained some Thai guys as chefs so it should still keep going even if he croaked. Anyway, go eat there and THEN tell me that wop food is overrated.
