The big pizza fast food chains (Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Little Caesars) are all pretty similar in process. They all require entry-level employees to proof and hand-stretch dough. That makes it an absolute crapshoot when it comes to the quality you receive.

For me it is Papa Murphy's. They use a more fool-proof method for creating their dough, utilizing dough rolling machines and proofing cabinets. This results in a far better consistency of product. Additionally, it is my opinion that pizza tastes the absolute best ~10 minutes after coming out of the oven, and decreases relatively rapidly after that. The Take and Bake pizza concept allows you to enjoy pizza at it's absolute best. This timing for peak pizza enjoyment is basically impossible to obtain from the other big chains.
>>
>>22146964
I live like 8 minutes away from Dominos so I just leave right after I place the order and by the time I get home and eat it it's about 10 minutes after coming out of the oven.
>>
>>22146964
Panago reporting in, we use dough rollers.

For OP, our best deal right now is unfortunately on a small pizza. The small+drink combo lets you substitute two things for free, so you can "substitute" your pepperoni and cheese for Extra pepperoni and cheese. You're also allowed to get the 1 litre box of juice instead of a bottle of pop. If it's before 3:00 you can get a pan pizza for $5 as well.
>>
>>22146998
Oh yeah, the small+drink combo ends at 4:00.

>Probably the absolute best
What.
>>
>>22146964
I mostly disagree with your take desu. the proofing aspect of the dough is standardized. same time, same temp, same weight, same bulk knead in the industrial mixer. the only variable of balling the dough for proofing is one of the easier full proof tasks of pizza making.
as far as shaping, anybody that works at a pizza place is probably going to get good enough at it to be functional, round shape and no holes is usually going to turn out fine if it was properly proofed. I think the reason papa murphys can seem better probably comes down to higher quality cheese and toppings. they can afford to spend a bit more there in return for decreased labor costs.
>>
>>22147210
With the exception of Little Caesars, all of the pizza chains I mentioned receive dough every 2 or 3 days that is made by a centralized production facility. The proofing process involves pulling dough out of refrigeration to rest at room temperature for an amount of time dependent on the age of the dough. While not exactly rocket science, it is the most complicated aspect of the pizza making process at these locations, and entry-level employees do struggle with following the procedures.

While Little Caesars does make dough "in-store daily", that is a deceptive statement because they don't usually use the dough same-day and use the same process of refrigerating dough and pulling it to proof for a time based on the age of the dough. They claim their dough is "aged under refrigeration for up to 3 days for taste and texture".

Papa Murphy's makes dough in-store daily, and disposes of unused dough at the end of the day. This makes proofing more consistent, as does the use of proofing cabinets which provide a temperature and humidity controlled environment.

>>22145480
that's the standard way of cooking pizza now because Americans like soft pizza. if you want crispy pizza you have to ask for it well done. pretty sure their pizza is literally cooked on a timer.
>>
>>22147247
You're an idiot
>>
>>22147228
>They claim their dough is "aged under refrigeration for up to 3 days for taste and texture".
I don't think I've ever had Little Caesars dough that tasted like it was aged 3 days, and it almost never happens at Dominos either but when it does it's amazing.

i'd say the most critical factor in not only pizza chains but fast food consistency and pr in general is properly saucing things. undersaucing seems to be the lowest common denominator in any negative experience with any of those realm of places from personal experience and the littany of joeishungry justfoodreviews reportoftheweek etc. the biggest factor in any bad review is always the dryness, the weight the heat and the penalty box do contribute slightly and if the flavor was somehow obviously bad it would be a different story but barring that last one if it's properly sauced the other variables dont bring it down as much. i wish the ceo of mcdonalds would just othello piece down the chain of command that its now mandatory that every quarter pounder be adequately sauced and if you receive one undersauced in store and show them it was their fault you should receive 3 free quarter pounders as a warning to the franchisee to discourage sauce-skimping under their roof.

When you finish peeing, don't a few drops still come out into your boxers? I'm avoiding that

Also, urinals are impossible for avoiding backsplash

One time at Costco I got another guy's piss on my leg and foot. Their urinal partitions are stingy and hang 2 feet off the floor, and their urinals extend to the floor. I fucking hate Costco washrooms now.

I don't know about burgers and shit, but I've worked as a QC inspector for 2 big pizza chains and saucing is really never an issue. Dough proofing is consistently an issue. Did you ever stop and ask yourself if you're some sort of sauce freak? Just wondering.
