>>22146867I mean it's basically just a mini oven. You can cook anything in it that you would cook in a regular oven, provided that it will fit. It comes up to temp quickly so it's good for cooking little things or heating up leftovers, when you don't want to wait for the oven to heat up. An air fryer is a mini convection oven. So, similar, but better at getting things crispy. A lot of modern toaster ovens also have convection/air fry settings, although they don't typically work as well as a dedicated air fryer for getting stuff crispy. But if I could only have one, it would be a toaster oven, it has a wider range of use.

>>22146867Toaster oven is good for anything you want toasted or crispy in single portion sizes, especially frozen foods. In college I basically lived off one; it's perfect for frozen burritos, left over pizza, brussel sprouts, bacon, etc.
