>>22147706garbanzo because hummus. the rest is just meh, filling and nutritious I guess...
>>22147712White kidney beans in some kind of tomato based sauce has captured my heart recently, very aesthetic and tasty
>>22147706Black beans. That slight sweetness and thick, creamy broth are so damn good.
>>22147714You sound like a massive faggot
>>22147718You sound like a tiny faggot
Buttered popcorn jelly.
>>22147706Limas.
>>22147717Based black bean bro

>>22147856That is a very not ripe pea
>>22147777Quads of truth.
>>22147712Wtf chickpeas are not beans. They are legumes.Ayo, if this nigga right here can say chickpeas then I get to say peanuts.
>>22147858its ripe tho
>>22147866Are those snow peas or snap peas? I used to work in a garden and we'd leave those alone for another week if they looked like that
>>22147864>Scientifically classified as Cicer arietinum, they belong to the Fabaceae family alongside other beans, lentils, and peas, functioning interchangeably with common beans in culinary and nutritional contexts.so are they beans or not?? is it "like" a bean in roughly the same family? or is it not? fucking wikipedia I swear... we need a true republican unbiased website for factual information so bad instead of that liberal woke crap.
>>22147910>so are they beans or not?? is it "like" a bean in roughly the same family? or is it not? fucking wikipedia I swear... we need a true republican unbiased website for factual information so bad instead of that liberal woke crap.if you think peanuts and chickpeas are interchangeable, try eating a hummus and jelly sandwich
>>22147910Eh… all beans are fabaceae but not all fabaceae are beans. Some are just things resembling beans. It's from Latin, faba. Literally "bean". And aceae. Literally "resembling". It's formed by combining the suffix -aceus (meaning "resembling") with the feminine plural ending -ae. It's used for plants. Also, faba is where ethpanyol gets "haba" and "habichuela" because they started to erase Fs from the beginning of words for some fucking reason. That's why Hernandez exists as a surname. It was originally Fernandez but split off somewhere.
>>22147927You can dry roast chickpeas to eat like roasted peanuts but due to the extreme difference in fat content, they won't be creamy smooth like peanuts are when ground into paste.
Pinto and rose.
>>22147706I been eating on them Rancho Gordo mayocoomba beans
>>22147706Black beans, or frijoles negros.
>>22147984this sound so fucking gay
>>22147996Does this look gay to you?
>>22147706Pinto beans. Black beans for salads.
>>22148003yes
>eating beansIshygddt
>>22148003I can't tell any difference from other white beans with these. Me I just like black beans as far as plain beans go. Some like black eyed peas and lima beans have a good green vegetable taste that goes well in some recipes, some like split peas are really sweet which also works in combinations. Most are completely blank like pinto beans.
>>22148423They're softer-skinned and much starchier so they turn creamier when cooked. At least that's been my experience. I never had them before a few years ago when my local supermarket was clearing out all the Hispanic stuff shortly after Trump's reelection. Not even joking. They were $1.49 for a 2lb bag.
I have no idea how they cannellini these beans so perfectly but they’re the best.I know other beans are canned but how the fuck do you cannellini them at home?
>>22147706My favourite bean is you, the human bean reading this
>>22147706
>>22148782>Rancho gordo>Hispanictopkek
>>22148796Literally who
>>22148948NTA, but I can see some whities that piss their pants over trump viewing anything bean-related being hispanic.
>>22148964He's the bean fairy.
>>22147706african american beans
>>22148970Rent free, apparently. There’s no reason for you to keep imagining “ypipo bad” for every single thing you read other than whatever you have going on in your head.
>>22148792thanks
>>22148948Is that Guermo Del Taco?
>>22148948Bitch, did I say it was the same fucking brand? No, i did not. I was talking about general Hispanic merchandise as well as mayocobas in particular but not that specific brand. Work on your reading comprehension. A white man wouldn't have made that mistake, Miguelito.>>22148970Honestly, it was probably a coincidence since it's all been restocked and remains in the store to this day but dear me, what an odd coincidence. All of those saint candles, every Goya product, Iberia product and that Vsomething brand all in the clearance section. Everything. Every last Hispanic product, there in that back current. Wypipo bean brands, like the store brand and Bush's were unaffected and Old el Paso, Mission and the like weren't affected, either, just the stuff primarily purchased by Hispanics. We stocked up on Goya rice flour cuz we're Asian and bought several other clearance items just to try them.
>>22149224Goya has good quality. Cajun here and their red beans are the best canned. The pintos taste great too.
>>22149224There's a separate Goya section at my wally but I figured it was them making a special deal to be a featured brand away from having to be right next to the Great Value stuff that costs 40% less.
>>22149235Yup. My wife and I pounced on that shit like you wouldn't believe and other shoppers were barely touching the stuff. 75% off and nobody was interested. >>22149299Same with my supermarket, but that entire section had the red tags on it meaning clearance. I think it's like how Target and Walmart mark down every single toy in the store for clearance at the end of July to make space for back to school stuff and Christmas toys.
>>22149241I fucking love a good robusta, the coffee it makes is much more stronger. Perfect for that 1st cup of the day.
>>22147706Pinto gang, sound off!
my wife shes a heckin smol bean haha
Baked beans. Yeah I recognize it's more expensive but there's something nice about just opening a can and pouring over brown rice.
