For me, I prepared picrel; A spam musubi and seared cheese onigiri bento to bring to work tomorrow.
I mixed the rice with a gentle dusting of furikake in a bowl before taking some out to make the patties for the spam to sit on, and then the rest was mixed with a little bit of cheese for the onigiri. I used cheap molds you can find on Amazon for both the musubi rice patties and the onigiri triangles. The spam was seared on medium-high heat for a short amount of time, after which the heat was reduced to low while it simmered in a teriyaki-butter mixture until thoroughly glazed. I then cleaned the pan, re-greased it, and cranked the heat way up to sear the outside of the onigiri. For the seaweed, instead of using sushi nori I used gimbap gim; I find it has a pleasant toothsomeness to it and is a bit easier to work with without breaking.
The one project made eight musubi and six rice balls. One musubi and rice ball each went to four members of my family, who I'm proud to say really enjoyed them. The rest will make up two meals for my double shift tomorrow at my day job.

Anyways, wataya cookan /ck/?

I was considering making the process a thread, maybe tomorrow though.

It was hours ago and it's been eaten already: grilled chicken curry wrap with mayo and LTO, sides of zuke scapece and stir-fried shredded carrot.
Take boneless chicken thigh.
Season.
Dust in curry powder.
Grill.
Plate.
Chop with the spatula.
Place on fresh roti with mayo and LTO.
Roll
Consume with sides and drink.

You should buy the canned tofu pockets and make inari too. Very simple and delicious and will go with musubi and oniggery. They sell the cans on Amazon if you don't have a local Asian market.

I made beef fajitas. Stock pic because I didn't take a picture. I prefer chicken fajitas but beef is easier to work with and I keep finding it on sale because I've been forced onto night shifts so I get off at 6AM which means I'm like the 10th person into the grocery store. Next up will be pork chops paired with the leftover vegetables from the fajita ingredients. I'll probably slice them into strips and throw them into the tortillas I have left.

Thanks. I originally wanted to make the zukes into fritters but didn't have time to salt and press so I just sliced, salted, oiled, grilled, and dressed with vinegar, garlic and mint to have as a warm salad IE scapece. The carrots were leftover banchan, danggeun bokkeum, from last week when I made bibimmyeon.

Just salt and a rotisserie seasoning, I grilled them at 350° once the ribs came off.

>how much off on the beef?
25 to 50% depending on if the sell-by date is today or tomorrow. It's the only way I can justify skirt steak these days, even the formerly ultracheap ones with the silverskin still attached have risen to a stupid price. I can also get ground beef super cheap and I spent like a month making chili but then I started getting acid reflux.

I made gumbo (for the first time)
>needs 45mins minimum just for the dark roux before even starting the rest
how do people have time for this shit? It's like a 2-3hour dish
>>
>>22155228
You can get a nice dark roux in about 5 minutes if you're not gay. Look up the way Paul Prudhomme does his
>>
>>22155270
