I miss this lil' nigga like you wouldn't believe.
They used to have them stocked at one of the big supermarket chains in my area, they replaced it with shitty ipas. R.I.P.
>>
Just buy Hoegaarden instead, it's better
>>
>>22153798
pretty sure I've tried it, but I don't remember it, maybe I haven't even tried it
>>
>>22153795
What made it so special from other similar beer?
>>
>>22153812
it's like a more enjoyable paulaner/franziskaner, and that for me is top-tier
>>
>>22153815
I use to drink Paulaner and Franziskaner, what makes Blue Moon different to them?
>>
>>22153816
it is in fact very similar, that's why I like it, it's different, iirc it doesn't contain wheat *checks*, yes it doesn't contain wheat, it's hard to descrive, it has an enjoyable flavor to me, similar to paulaner yet a bit different, if I had to choose I'd probably choose blue moon, and I like paulaner a lot, it's one of my favorite beers
>>
>>22153795
blue moon has had problems with the bottle manufacturer lately.
the lips of the bottles are all missing little chunks of glass.
i e-mailed them, they let me know they'd look into it.
>>
>>22153853
>he lips of the bottles are all missing little chunks of glass
sounds dangerous
>>
>>22153855
>>22153853
I hope you specified the are you're in and the seller you're buying them and when, might matter/help identify the problem
>>
>>22153857
i provided lot number and location info.
i used to be an operations manager of a retail chain so i know all that shit.
but for other anons, makes sure you do these things when letting them know.
you get coupons and free shit for it.
>>
>>22153795
what on earth is this bait
>>
>>22153845
Blue Moon does contain wheat, it's a wheat beer, what are you talking about
>>
>>22154026
you're actually right, I double checked
>>
>putting a fruit slice in your beer
lol, fruit
>>
>>22154105
>Core Ingredients
>Water
>Barley
>Malt
>Wheat
>Oats
>Valencia Orange Peel
>Coriander
>Hop Extract
>Yeast
I notice 0 of those, except for wheat, but it's a fucking nice flavor, I think google was trolling me with the ingredients earlyer, had to go for "blue moon beer ingredients" or it'd skip some or some shit
>>
>>22153795
For me it's Allagash White
>>
>>22154162
Delicious and made nearby, it's the best kind of beer.
>>
>>22154162
>>22154344
sounds pretty good, what's the taste like? are the spices and orange noticeable
>>
>>22154352
>>22154344
>>22154162
I mean like noticeable boldly, or you don't notice?
>>
>>22153795
wait is this real? They dont make it anymore?!
damn man, i remember drinking this shit all the time back in the day it was really good imo.
>>
>>22154352
>>22154360
You know that they're there, but they don't take over the flavor profile.
>>
>>22154367
this happened in my country and city, probably same thing across my country but defs not everywhere else
>>
>>22154370
interesting I so wanna try it
>>22154367
I mean that they're most likely still making it, just the big supermarket chain near me stopped stocking them
>>
>>22154412
I'm in the North East so Allagash is available everywhere. I don't know how available it is in the rest of the country. It's a very good wheat beer. Much better than Blue Moon.
>>
>>22154420
I'd swear I've never seen it here in EU
>>
>>22154427
I can't find any mention on Allagash's website of International distribution.
You may be stuck getting Hoegaarden fresh from the brewery instead, you p̶o̶o̶r̶ lucky bastard.
>>
>>22154443
just checked the ingredients sounds amazing, however just by reading the ingredients Allagash looks like the most refined one
>>
>>22154455
They're both examples of Belgian Wit; Hoegaarden's version has several centuries of seniority.

>Belgian Wit
An oxymoron, some would say.
>>
>>22154460
noted
>>
>>22154460
When Pierre Celis had his original brewery in Texas brewing the original Hoegaarden recipe, before the sale to Miller, that was a damn fine beer.
>>
today I learned that blue moon fits in a very specific class of beers, and that they all carry a very special set of ingredients, thx /ck/
>>
>>22153997
Blessed be op managernon, i love free shit.
>>
>>22153997
B A S T E, did you get any free shit this time?

>>
blue moon is top tier, i wish more mexican stores carried it. Blue Moon Light tops all of them tho
>>
judging by its ingredients of beers of this category, these niggas knew something, they wwre formulating like a scientist or a cook
>>
>>22153795
As a german I have to admit that the belgians have a top Tier beer culture and Brands.
>>
>>22158010
As an American, I agree. I love Belgian beers. It's a shame they are so hard to find here these days due to Shelton Brothers Importers closing. They imported probably 75% of all Belgian beer. I used to get Cantillon off the shelves all day long. Now, it's a miracle to ever see a single bottle.
>>

>>22158114
nta, I love me belgian and german and england beers

I would like to go on a route trying the tap beers of all those regions
