Anyone making more than 100k/year, what's the most expensive shit you've eaten?

>25, entry-level.
>>
My bosses taint to get to 100k
>>
We'll occasionally go to a nicer restaurant that comes out to around 250 per person, maybe every couple of months if it's a celebration type thing. The most expensive places are in the upper third of things I've eaten but none of them are the best. Anyone who's had a decent bit of experience with food, cooking, and dining out under their belt will tell you that the most expensive meal they've had was not the best one.

I had a steak dinner that was like $80. I didn't buy it though, it was a work dinner.
I don't buy expensive shit myself, I still cook my own meals most of the time and usually eat chicken or pork, rarely steak or anything else expensive. Why would people waste money on food?
>>
i make $110k/yr and i hate eating fancy shit but my wife wanted some fancy dinner for her birthday so we wento Asadero in ballard and got the a5 miyazaki wagyu hot stone and the australian wagyu ribeye with the wagyu loaded baked potato and it cost $500 after tip. hilariously the loaded baked potato was the best thing i had lol.

So....just over the Living Wage for most of America...
>i make $110k/yr
Which Metro area?
Come on, give the unvarnished truth with respect to cost of living.
That's not a lot of money.
>>
We make well over that but like keeping money in or pocket. The most expensive meals are generally upscale Chinese involving maybe a whole steamed fresh fish or fresh lobsters / crabs in sauce and some kind of tea smoked duck dish plus a half dozen other dishes for the family. The meal will be around $300 and feed five adults.

I'm sorry you live in such a crappy, expensive place. Cheers pal.

Christmas Day menu. Around 500 bux for five people.

All Americans on 4chan earn over $250k per year minimum, it's a well known fact.

I make just over $150k, and I also went to culinary school. Lovely spots. I'm not a wagyu steak fag or gold leaf whatever fag. That shit feels shallow as fuck.

Smoked beef rib and a whiskey flight, maybe? I think it came out to something like $50. Got it from a distillery somewhere in Tennessee.
I honestly haven't internalized that I make a decent amount money now. Legitimately went from the poorest guy in my friend group to the second highest earner over night. I can't mentally justify spending more than $35 on a meal unless I'm getting something I really can't just make at home.

NTA, but the area I live in has a standard cost of living roughly 6% below the national average, but is still ranked within the top 50 best places to live by US news.
My cock is only 6" but I'm definitely a better cook than you.

NTA but my cock is 6.1" and im not a better cook than you

probably an overpriced omakase sushi course in new york, i never go to really fancy restaurants. partly because i feel weird going anywhere formal alone and partly because i'm still pretty frugal despite my income.

Comparatively frugal is definitely the best approach, I’ve been loosening the budget a little recently but I want no part of lifestyle creep

Went last year. Hope i can go back someday but I fear it might have gone down the shitter since I was gone.
>>

I make 175-220k a year depending on workload. I usually don't spend a lot on food, but I've eaten a couple steak dinners that were ~$300/person and both times were on company dime. Honestly it wasn't as good as the price tag led me to believe
>>
130+ at a sushi place in Houston, hands down the best thing I have ever eaten
>>
>>22155655
I remember going out to this farm-to-table place North of Toronto for a company retreat and once the alcohol got included in I think it was like $170 a person.
>>
>>22155855
$110k is fine everywhere but new york.
