We'll occasionally go to a nicer restaurant that comes out to around 250 per person, maybe every couple of months if it's a celebration type thing. The most expensive places are in the upper third of things I've eaten but none of them are the best. Anyone who's had a decent bit of experience with food, cooking, and dining out under their belt will tell you that the most expensive meal they've had was not the best one.

i make $110k/yr and i hate eating fancy shit but my wife wanted some fancy dinner for her birthday so we wento Asadero in ballard and got the a5 miyazaki wagyu hot stone and the australian wagyu ribeye with the wagyu loaded baked potato and it cost $500 after tip. hilariously the loaded baked potato was the best thing i had lol.

We make well over that but like keeping money in or pocket. The most expensive meals are generally upscale Chinese involving maybe a whole steamed fresh fish or fresh lobsters / crabs in sauce and some kind of tea smoked duck dish plus a half dozen other dishes for the family. The meal will be around $300 and feed five adults.

Got it from a distillery somewhere in Tennessee.I honestly haven't internalized that I make a decent amount money now.
