I got frozen White Castle burgers from the store. They leave something to be desired. Thought I'd doctor them up.

This is going to be so much better with the extra work I've put in.
And yet still retain that classic flavor.

Like in Harold & Kumar when the guy at the drive-though describes the onions like "flavor crystals".

And some nice slices of pickle in there and we have success!!

Thanks for watching. Now you too can improve those White Castle burgers while still retaining what we love about them in the first place.

End of thread.

What's not to understand? You're being disrespectful and critical when you should be thanking me or at least just ignoring the thread.

There's no call for your rudeness here. What I've done has been clear from the start. Just because YOU wouldn't go to the trouble to improve your frozen burgers doesn't mean this was a pursuit without merit.

I don't like you and I choose not to respond to any more of your weak trolling. Good day, sir.

i would not buy a frozen burger in the first place and the pursuit is entirely without merit.

A box of six White Castle sliders is $6.99 at the nearest grocery store. Fast Bites are $1.50 each. Why go with White Castle when Fast Bites are a much better value and base upon which to improve?
>>
>>22157766
White Castle is iconic and unique. 'Fast Bites' looks like some gas station fare. And they may be good, but they don't hold sentimental value for me.
Maybe someday I'll try them if I see them. But other than White Castle I'm not really into frozen, ready-to-eat foods.
And after having 6 of them in the last few days I think the craving is gone for a good while. I sent myself off in style though with the improved ones.
>>
>>22157787
You were feeling nostalgic for White Castle sliders with a bunch of not-White Castle toppings on them?

When I bought them, yes. And after the previous four and the inevitable disappointment with those soggy bottom buns and general lack of beef, I set out to make the last ones what I thought they should be. I had a ziploc of ground beef and some Singles in the fridge and dill pickle slices and I used those to 'extend' the classic flavor you can only get from White Castle into a more substantial pair of burgers that didn't leave me wanting.
And in that I succeeded and deemed it worthy of a thread. And then I fielded several rude comments from naysayers and then you who is not so rude, which brings us to now.
I think the thread has run its course.
We've learned that few if any have appreciated what I've done here. Perhaps it will be reappraised and reassessed in the future and better understood.
Probably not. Nothing too extraordinary occurred. But I had a good time and that's all that matters. I enjoyed cooking and eating those burgers.

>>
>>22157164
OP thought he needed some type of "hook" to get people interested in his story
>>22157167
Nope, the anon is correct. The white castle part is completely superfluous. Mostly because you make it sound like you're going to improve the white castles, but then you just make your own from scratch
>>22157185
>I improved some cheap burgers and yet they still taste the way I want them to
NO YOU DIDN'T.
You made your own burgers.
>>
>>22157148
white castle steams their burgers in a bed of onions. they aren't supposed be seared. you made an entirely different sandwich.
>>
>>22157185
>I BULKED THEM UP
When? It looks like you just made your own burgers. It's not clear from the pictures you posted that the original white castles were involved in anyway. You didn't describe anything you kept from the original white castles either.
So stop saying you improved them when you made something entirely different
>>

>>
>>22158137
What? I used the buns and everything from the White Castles. You can see BOTH my beef and theirs in this image. >>22157154
>>
>>22158374
>You can see BOTH my beef and theirs in this image
Yeah, BARELY.
You should have described what you were doing in the text.
I assume you used your own buns because of the disdain you showed for the frozen White Castles.
It's confusing because people don't normally augment frozen food like this; they'll remake it from scratch. You should've taken more care to explain what you were doing.
>>
>>22158448
It was all quite clear and visible. Just read all the words.
>>
>>22158252
I don't shop at the fucking dollar store, you low class bitch.
>>
>>22158540
I did. You never explained that you were putting your beef on the white castle buns.

Are you autistic or something? The OP says "doctor them up". Then you see them in the microwave. Then you see them on the plate, and on the plate opened up. All the while my own beef is cooking.
At no time are different buns introduced. Seems like it'd be obvious that I didn't switch out some conveniently tiny buns of my own at any point.
And then the burger is REassembled with the addition of bigger patties and extra cheese.
I'd think a child could follow this progression from start to finish without confusion, and yet you're baffled by it.

I was quite confident I didn't leave anything out, and after double checking my work now I'm still sure of that.

Did you have trouble in school?
>>
>>22158600
>doctor
This word is usually used when trickery is involved. OP should've used "upgrade" or "improve."
Doctor isn't technically incorrect, but it's a very unusual word to use in this context.
>and on the plate opened up
It appeared he was demonstrating how bad the white castles are. There was no indication he would put his own meat on it.
OP should have shown the meat on the bottom bun, with the top bun off to the side, and some caption like "Now we add my meat to the white castle."
>>
>>22158635
What 'he'? I'm OP. And "improvement" is in the title here.

There was every indication that the meat cooking in the pan was going on the White Castles.
You're the only one who is confused here and it's YOUR fault.

Now fuck off so this thread can die.
>>
OP is the gayest fucking retard I've ever seen. What a total failure
>>
>>22158640
>improvement
Like I said earlier, usually when people do this they are making improved "versions" of the item. They aren't upgrading the existing one. So I went into your thread expecting just that, and nothing you posted made it really clear that you were doing things differently.
Of course I figured it out eventually.
Now that I've explained it, you should understand why myself and other anons were confused and have been giving you pushback.

It really could not be clearer. You have some sort of a comprehension disability. The wording was clear over and over. What you get from the store is not good enough. So I'm going to make them BETTER with extra work. And yet they'll still be the SAME because we're adding to existing product.
And no new buns were introduced. It was so simple.

>>22158687
Oh I comprehended it alright, you just made it more confusing than it needed to be.
The original meat is barely visible.
What you needed is something like picrel and text saying "Now we add the freshly cooked patties to the original bun" or something.
>>
>>22158714
WTF? Where did you get that picture? I didn't post that.
>>
>>22158715
I recreated your recipe and took my own pictures
>>
Is this alcoholicanonnette? You should post something uniquely identifying in your pics.

White castle mini frozen burgers used to come with instructions to microwave them in the plastic. You could make the whole box in 3 min. Great late night snacks for the weekend after a few brewskis and gaming.

He's a poor piece of shit just like you. Paper plates, sucky ass paper towels, shit-tier Walmart White Castle sliders and to top it all off the excruciating need for attention. Two lonely fucking peas in a pod.
>>
>>22158751
I already aced the package, but it suggests wrapping them in a paper towel, top bun down if they're frozen.
I think many years ago they said just heat them in the bag they're packaged in.

>>22158753
Bait? That doesn't make any sense. Not to me anyway, and I made the thread. I overestimated the community here. Next time I'll be WAY more clear on what's happening.

>>22158760

Oh, then you're correct. I'm emotionally poor. Very immature sometimes too. But I'm making fun threads with decent photos. I'm doing a little something with my day.
I'm better off mentally than the people who just make negative, trolling comments without creating any OC to counter with.
