What's your favorite local takeout spot?
>>22158394This gives you cancer.
>>22158394I honestly have too many. Not about to name them because I’m paranoid, but I’ve got a good spread EXCEPT for American/European.. which is really a bummer. There’s only nice expensive food, which is fine, but I’d like to get a simple smash burger for $5 instead of $20. Hell, $10 total would be fine. I swear a bobs burgers-esque place could work, but it’s just sports bars with shitty/mid catalogue food or “gastropubs” that charge a lot. Not tooo far from me are decent diners still surviving but it’s hard to choose driving 40 minutes when there’s options 5 minutes away.Anyway> I’ve got a Thai place with killer basil fried rice.> Indian place with fresh paneer and great naan, Manchurian chicken that’ll make a chicken hater love it (that’s me)> Japanese place with great lunch deals for sushi and ramen> Korean that’s as good as my aunts, love to just get the jap chae > Mexican place with fresh salsa and guacamole. Chorizoqueso is stellar, they make a great Mexican chili too, and beef tongue tacosI can get $10-$15 lunches at all those places no problem. If i want to spend $25-$35 per person, there are some Italian, German, pub places. They’re not bad either, but especially the Italian place i find it hard to justify the price on their dishes with chicken. Pasta is cheap af!
