Sprechers!!!! I don’t know exactly how well known it is, but it’s one of the few soda brands i remotely enjoy
>>
>>22159114
beer is a soft drink.
no, i'm not explaining it.
>>

i love it! i get to drink beer all day long, and i can drive a car, and my health and relationships aren't being destroyed

I feel like Jarritos is pretty mainstream. Most gas stations stock them.

jamaican sof drinks in the jamaican section of your non-jamaican grocery store are very good. get DG brand with the cool cat on it, they have a lot of flavors. Or Ting, which is a grapefruit soda that i think beats out grapefruit jarritos or fresca/squirt.
>>

>jamaican section of your non-jamaican grocery store
I JUST ASKED WHERE THE JAMAICAN SECTION IS AND THE SAFEWAY WAGIE LAUGHED AT ME!!!!
>>
Y’all ever had swamp pop? The fig flavor is interesting, never had a soda like it.

unfortunately, you abandoned your manhood the moment you decided to ask a wagie for something.

Jarritos is sweet shit. I used to like San Pellegrino soft drinks but can't get them here where I live. They don't taste the same anyways. Italians make the best soft drinks.
>>
>>22159114
I bought some Jarrito's Cola recently and although I didn't love it I was pleasantly surprised by how interesting and unique it was to me. Had a spicy cinnamony vanilly flavour but also a sort of bitterness that was really subtle. It was refreshing in a glass of ice and also kind of confusing. I will need to try it again somtime, I have a feeling it grows on you with each try

Georgian soda is the best I've ever tried. Real sugar and very smooth.
>>
>>22159974
The pear one is godlike. Turbo sweet, though. Like drinking dissolved carbonated candy. Best thing Georgians brought to Poland. Well, the only other thing they brought besides food is organised crime.
>>
>>22159981
Ya know I can't stand the actual pear fruit because of the texture, but pear drinks are incredible
>>
>>22159981
they are dangerous because you can drink too much of it and it doesn't make you sick like western soda.

Gotta go with Vess.
Their cream soda in particular.

I'm pretty sure they're a St. Louis local brand though, but they're good at what they do.

Yes.

This is what came to mind. I'd imagine it's well known in its home state of MI, but here in AZ, it's pretty much never talked about despite being occasionally sold.

The jarritos guava is so fucking good. I also enjoy bundaberg ginger “beer.” And also kirks pasito. Passionfruit is an underrated beverage flavour base. Wish we had glass containers for pasito tho.

Those are the top 3 for me atm, solo possibly sliding in depending on the pairings. I hear spic coke is good as well?
>>
>>22162897
Also forgot to add another kirks banger creaming soda.
>>
>>22162892
Huh I didn't know that they export it.
>>22162897
I thought Americans just liked Mexican coke because it was made with actual sugar not high faggotry cunt syrup, in which case ours would probably be the same.
>>
>>22162904
Yeah apparently its cane sugar as opposed to super processed white sugar. American food is so fucked. Lots of videos of the insane stuff they call food. Also opiods in gas station pills for some reason. 3rd world tier.

I didn't try this until a couple years ago. It's one of my favorite sodas but I only drink flavored water now.
>>
>>22162907
>Yeah apparently its cane sugar as opposed to super processed white sugar.
Cane sugar is super processed white sugar. Cane sugar and HFCS are almost nutritionally identical.

>American food is so fucked.
Yeah there are major issues and terrible things being sold as food. It would help if more people just ate less processed food instead of thinking the issue is just one ingredient in the processed food.
>>
>>22162914
I should have clarified in>>22162904, I know HFCS is safe to eat, it's just every American soft drink or lolly I've had has had the same soapy aftertaste which I just assumed was HFCS. I agree zeroing in on as though it's the root of all evil is stupid.
>>
>>22162926
It's possible, there could be some off flavors produced when processing corn syrup. Though I think a lot of artificial flavorings also taste pretty bad and I'd blame that before the corn syrup. But I've never really done comparisons.
>>
>>22159143
Sure is if you consider kriek to be beer

came here just to post these two and was beaten to the punch. cheerwine is delicious, what a shame it isn't on tap outside of a few areas. squirt is oddly refreshing and not very sweet. good if you want something that's closer to a juice. nehi is very sweet but works as a treat if you catch it on a road trip. mello yello is the same.

as a kid my dad and i would stop at specialty soda stores and order from them online at christmas, so we're well-acquainted with unusual flavors, but you don't typically find those in vending machines. if you have an old timey store or even something like a cracker barrel they often have large selections of sodas to peruse, many of which are still in the nice glass bottles from older companies. grape crush is good, as are many cream and butterscotch sodas. i know starbucks used to sell those fancy jones ones with the unusual flavors as well but have no idea if they still do, as this was many years ago. sometimes ice cream or candy places will have the gag ones or ones that are flavored like bacon and chese.
>>
>>22162875
I mean I've seen it in stores in a bunch of other countries, but outside of Aus and NZ its just known as the random expensive stuff.
