>>22160867For more substantial chips yeah I agree with you. But Lays are so thin and crispy that they do not stand well on their own and they do not displace other sandwich elements. It's adding salty fatty little crispy things, makes for a nice little layer that you won't even notice as a chip honestly. Proper chips go on the side.

So about $2 each.The coop ones genuinely taste better - the oil is lighter, the salt is more flavorable. I even tried some really cheap no-name chips from Walmart - $1.43 a bag - and they tasted better than Lay's. Plus the ingredients were just "Potatoes, Sunflower Oil, Salt".I don't understand why people buy or eat Lay's.
