i have a lot of pictures of (mostly shitty) food i've eaten in ireland and the countries ive travelled to. probably no one gives a fuck but im bored and can post what ive ate over the last 2 years
>>22162204go ahead I guess
im gonna post everything. even the shitty ones kekthis is a chicken fillet rollvery common in delis and fast food chains now, nothing too fancy, the usual order is breaded chicken fillet, lettuce, mayo and cheese. some people get stuffing too thats not bad. (im not going to claim any of the food i post is good)
>>22162204It's doubtlessly better that constant fast food threads and that one carb schizo's shit. Post what you have, make /ck/ great again
in a rural french town. cost about 10 euro, wasnt bad but fuck me even rural france has been taken over. tasted good for the price
>>22162211>>22162206sounds good. i have a lot of pictures of food.this ones from the only italian joint i have in my town in ireland. i sent it to a few italians i know online and the general consensus was the food looks 5/10 but might taste better. this was the quatro formaggi
cheesy garlic bread as the side
>>22162209>(im not going to claim any of the food i post is good)Don't be so insecure, food snobs and trolls aren't human. I for one am very interested to see food from a place that isn't talked about much.
fish and chips i had on a date with a girl i was seeing. it was actually really nice but 22 euro for this is a bit of a stretch. food tends to be expensive in ireland usually if you eat out, thankfully the staff dont expect tips usually.
rural france hotel food. 10 euro for "all you can eat breakfast" so i took as much as i could. a good portion because i was super pissed up the night before. frances architecture and views are fantastic to be honest, it was a very short planned trip so i couldnt even attempt to learn anything besides bonjour, comment sa va and travaille... kind of amateurish. missed the breakfast one day by 20 minutes after having paid for it the day before, the food was still there but they wouldnt let me take any because it was 20 minutes past. heh.
>>22162216>Pizza with no sauce pizza on the side (dipped in pizza sauce)K
Not OP but the thread reminded me: Istanbul Kebab House, 39 Strand Street in Dublin. It's where I had this plate of godlike, and I truly mean that word, godlike rice, meat, sauces and vegetables. It was filling, it wasn't disruptive to my (admittedly sensitive) stomach, I have nothing like it in my area Stateside and I think about it at least once a month. 11/10
beef salad from a local chain called 'chopped' here set up by some martial arts guy with a bald head. heard he made great money off it, there wasnt many franchise salad bars in ireland before chopped so i guess he hit the yummy mummy and gym bro market.
spicebag/spice tray or whatever the fuck you wanna call it. pretty much in every chinese food place in the country. irish people claim its irish only but its just salt and chilli chicken and chips and some veggies usually. ive been eating these since i can remember but it hit off about 12 or so years ago. a staple of irish takeaway food. every irish person will know what this is. i cant imagine how bad it is for your cholesterol but who gives a fuck about that anyways right
i quite enjoyed this pasta and the wings were great too. the carbonara was so good and filling i had to leave about a third of it.
a good pour of Guinness
when I tried veggie for a few weeks. wasnt bad, thai food is great if you wanna keep it veggie. i really like green thai curry, i wish i grew up eating more shit like this
lil dessert
Good thread, OP. It's interesting to see international versions of immigrant food and how it varies to suit local tastes. There are different versions of all of this food in many countries. The US does all of them the best but it's fun to see other takes.
>>22162212That looks kind of middle eastern, is that who took over rural France lmao
>>22162219You’re paying a premium for that green streak on your plate lolIt looks nice and crispy at least!
>>22162267>>22162218cheers lads>>22162272pretty much dude. i was shocked to be honest, france has pretty much entirely fallen if from what i seen in this town was the norm. and to be honest i think its even worse in large cities. its dodgy at night, and filled to the brim with turks and north africans. shocking
more thai food
another fish and chips
irish stew
a bit messy but this pasta was goood. doesnt even come close to the emiliano-romagna region though, fuck. can only imagine how good napolis is. anyone ever gone?
nice beer and a few cigarettes with my italian mate
airport guinnessguinness snobs are very strange to me like yeah its a bit different in other countries but can you really notice a huge difference if youre in dublin? something about the barrels
a few pieces i got from my mother a while back. shes very kind and makes sure to check up on me a lot.
we actually have pop tarts here could you believe it
acai brazillian foodfantastic really
>>22162219>22 euros for thatYOU FOCKING WOT M8
>>22162204How is Ireland nowadays for tourists? Went there about 20 years ago and loved it and was thinking of finally visiting again.>>22162232Aye looks good>>22162280Are the peas there purely for decor? Seems weird to make people eat pea smear
>>22162293There is no difference, it's all very thin and tasteless regardless of where in the world you drink it. The bottles of carbonated guiness are much better.
You can tell the west is collapsing based on all this “food.”
