i struggle to eat enough food. i feel bad about eating garbage so i end up just not eating food rather than buying frozen meals or getting fast food or whatever.
i've tried to do chicken+rice+broccoli but i don't know how you're meant to do that all the time without killing yourself. drown it in sauce?
i just want some sort of pretty healthy meal that i could eat every multiple days a week and still tolerate. ideally something i could prepare in bulk.

i kind of hate the cooking process. i feel so slow. prep and cooking and cleaning up takes so fucking long. then i run out of cooked food and i have to do it again and i dread it.

sometimes i like cooking, but i wish i didn't have to do it all the fucking time. it's not very fun to have to cook the same shit over and over again because it's required to survive.

I hated cooking too.
Then i started thinkin about beans.
beans.
open a can, there's your meal.
dump the can over some rice if you're really hungry.

Also, fruit.
Feeling a bit peckish? grab a banana and you're eating in 3 seconds.

Instead of one meal you eat again and again, learn to make multiple meals you can eat again and again. That way, you won't hate cooking so much and will be more able to take control of your life.

you’re the target audience of a product called ‘Soylent’

yeah, so don't. you're just going to be miserable eating the same thing every day, only certain people can do that. learn a few basic meal templates that you can cook variations of. think more in terms of broader structures where the actual ingredients are changeable.
for example, pasta. you just need to know how to cook pasta and put it together with sauce, proteins and vegetables. but within that, you can use all different kinds of pastas. you can use tomato, pesto, or alfredo sauce. your protein can be chicken, or shrimp, or beef. your vegetable can be broccoli, or bell pepper, or mushrooms. also with seasonings and herbs, you have even more variations you can make. there's thousands of different combinations, but at the base it's all gonna have a basically similar cooking process.

the best foods to make in bulk are stuff like soups and stews, which you can apply this same thought process to. make a big pot at once, stick it in the fridge, or portion some out into the freezer.

it taking too much time is literally just a skill issue. you'll get faster with practice. just gotta keep doing it.

?????????
Rubbish.
You can make various Curry dishes, Italian Ragu, Chilli's, etc. and freeze portions, I do it often.

I have made mistakes though, most recently I took out a Bolognaise sauce ready for the Microwave (5 1/2 mins stir and 4 1/2 mins) meanwhile the spaghetti was on the go.

First stir of the sauce and I realised it was a Pork belly sweet and sour I made, it was still enjoyable though.

Batch cooking is great, it saves spending too much time messing about and clearing up afterwards, cooking for myself this would be a pain.
Picrel is a hot and spicy curry made with chicken thighs- ( Still on the bone) ready for freezing.

What’s no-Italian ragu like?
>Bolognaise
Try again.
>>
>>22162696
curry is a stew
ragu is a meat sauce, arguably a stew
chili is a stew

watch one pan meals stuff on youtube

And a ragu should never contain tomatoes.
>>
>>22162813
it's literally a tomato sauce with meat in it

Generally I find with meat + rice you can leave the meat separate and just sauce that and you’ll be fine eating that with the rice. If you try to sauce the rice it’ll need too much sauce because rice is a flavor black hole

>What’s no-Italian ragu like?
Picrel, because no Italian would eat it

I prep meatballs. You can cook them in large batches and freeze them too.
Then, you can add them to heated up jar sauce, or just on top of whatever really.
I went through a really shitty health thing and could pretty much only eat meat and a handful of vegetables.
I used a beef/pork mix, usually called “a mix” at the store. But you can do whatever you want.
I had them with bbq sauce, tomato, vodka sauce, butternut squash pasta sauce, i threw them in ramen or whatever soup i was eating…
How poor are you?
Because if you’re not poor, there are a few other options too.

I forgot a few things..
I made different flavor profiles of meatball batches.
> breakfast sausage-y with maple syrup and sage
> Italian-y with basil
> asian-y with ponzu and garlic
Oh, you could supplement with smoothies too.
> protein powder
> peanut butter
> Greek yogurt
> fruit like strawberries or raspberries
> dates, honey, or maple syrup
Make a lovely smoothie.
A lot of people add things like flax and chia, but those make me incredibly bloated and gassy. Cannot eat them

if ur super lazy, or idk what ur situation is where u lack energy, you could always just drink milk + ovaltine or drink ensure, basically all ur nutrition needs right there. just eat something with fiber with it along with them

tuna salad can last about a week and a halfish in the fridge and has got great amounts of protein in it. tuna melts are great, just the salad is good, and mixing it in adobo sauce is also nice
