Do our feline friends deserve such decadence?
>>22164971I feed my shiro this brand of dry food and Sheba brand Pate. I usually feed him 1 entire package of Sheba split in two and 1/3rd cup of the dry. He actually really prefers the dry food oddly enough.
my cat seriously goes crazy for the pate cube gem things. they probably load it with sugar or something addictive to cats because this dude makes weird noises and freaks out if he thinks I have a gem and I'm not gonna give it to him.
>>22164995My cat loves the gravy. He doesn't like the wet food if it's pieces of meat. He will just lick the gravy off. So that pate gem cube is also his favorite. It's that damn gravy.
>>22164995my cats do as well. one of them eats much faster than the other and she would try to bully the other cat who was still eating to eat his food. and then of course because she ate so fast she would throw up on the carpet like a jackass. i have to separate them when i feed them that stuff.
>>22164995Cats can't taste sugar. That's why cat food products will taste kinda weird to humans (no sweetness) even though they are perfectly edible.
>>22164971Yes. I don't know if Fancy Feast is good or not but generally the more expensive cat foods have better ingredients and less filler or no filler compared to the cheap brands. I've been feeding my kitty wet food tuna from a brand called Weruva for around a decade and he's fit as a fiddle according to his yearly vet visits. It's kind of soupy but I always add a little warm water because kitty loves his food wet. He hates dry clumpy wet food that has no liquid. It took a bit of trial and error and talking to his vet to find a good wet good brand he would eat and Weruva fit the bill. He also gets a little dry Purina cat food after his wet food.
