Argentinean beef is excellent quality. Much better than the Brazilian shit that's dominating the American market, which is still better than the hormone infested shit Americans produce.

the president can't change taxes without congressional approval but can change tariffs without them, so to get around the absurdly high taxes domestic farmers have to deal with the president adjusts tariffs on imported foodstuffs. one of the many peculiarities of the congressional system of government.

What's happening is that the prenium canadian beef (most meat, actually) is first sold on international markets for the highest bidder, and the unsold quotas are sold in Canada. Same happens in other countries, Canada buys american, australian, and new zealand beef because we'd rather make a profit on our beef exports. I dunno the stats for Alberta beef, but I know Québec pork is highly prised in Korea and Japan and that's where the best cuts go first. It's funny to watch Korean and Japanese restaurant opening prep videos and the pork has a maple leaf and fleur de lys on the vacuum sealed bag.

>coastfag doesn't realize where the good beef comes from
Flyover chud here. My beef is humanely raised on a ranch about 20 miles away from me. For generations, the same conservative white family has handled every step of the process (the ranch, the processing, the butcher shop).

I don't remember them ever having a recall. I've never got food poisoning from their beef or the other food products they sell, and I don't know anyone who has. Their beef is both much better and cheaper than Shart Mart beef ($6 for a pound of the best 80/20 ground beef you'll ever have). It would be even cheaper per pound/per cut if I had a family to feed. They sell half cow and full cow amounts of beef at bulk discount prices but I don't need that much. I also get cheap, locally grown produce that doesn't have illegals shitting parasites all over the crops.

NTA but there's plenty of small family ranches in the northeast. Small buys are 10-20% pricier, large buys come out cheaper than local grocery options. Flyover sharts think they're the only ones with farms, huh?

Wichita is shitty, though it is getting better. Of course the geography of that region will never change. The part of the state I live in has far more trees and greenery than Wichita because we get more rainfall and slightly lower temperatures here. Imagine thousands of square miles of pic related and most of it is for cattle ranching.

>>
>>22175665
I wonder if no one read it (superficial, obvious interpretation of the reaction) or if everyone is doing what I did, which is read it and then play along because the non-reading interpretation is more fun. Obviously,
>this stuff was imported in may
>has nothing to do with donald trump or his 300k pounds of new meat which has not even begun to arrive
>has no actual associated cases of disease
>just paperwork skipping by a sketchy importer
>it got caught and recalled, no one is poisoned, the beef probably isn't even poisonous
However, that is boring and sucks. more fun is
>donald trump imported this hideous, worm ridden argentinian beef
>he sold it directly to his own voters
>over 9000 boomers died of dysentery from this
>then the meat got recalled
>>
>>22169198

Argentine beef has been available from Fresh Market for several years now.
It's BLATANTLY superior to US beef.

Now, can I believe there is absolute shit ground beef coming from there? Yes.
But this is an op against superior meat that doesn't use our own "crops" as a food supply.
AKA, you don't buy the feed from monsanto grown shit using "sileage" (fake cow food) as their calories.
