Australia has the highest per capita consumption of flavored milk in the world, particularly ice coffee. It's a popular choice for construction workers and tradies who need a filling drink on the job.

Being lactase-persistent because I'm European, I'd try every flavour. Which is your favourite, my debtor-descended duderino?

I like that Dare Mocha now comes in a 2 litre bottle. Dare Mocha and a Rothmans Blue for brekkie is all a man really needs. I'm also partial to a Farmer's Union Iced Coffee Oak is probably next best. I do like their limited edition flavours like Choc Mint. Big M isn't as good as it used to be. Breaka is fucking awful. Barista Bros was even worse and I am glad it got shitcanned.
>>
>>
that sounds great but isn't it hot as fuck there a lot of the time? doesn't seem like milk would be the optimal choice for refreshment
>>
I tend to think of ice coffee as a drink for cooling down while getting a caffeine fix, but do they contain exceptionally high amounts of additives like sugar?

We also have the highest per capita consumption of cocaine and choccy milk makes you big and strong so you better watch your mouth mate.
>>
>>22171839
Yeah, most of them use the lowest grade coffee possible, so the only way they make it drinkable is by adding a fuck load of sugar. Some brands have more sugar than Coke or Pepsi do.
>>
>>22171648
I'm jealous, here in the US all we have is choco and sometimes strawberry. I wonder why flavored milk never came here.
>>
>>22171856
There's also coffee (Rhode Island), caramel (Puerto Rico and Florida) and banana choco (nationwide).

How different is it from Milk Tea cause you'd think Taiwan or Korea would have supplanted Aussies on a Per Capita thing if that's counted

Milk Tea is Tea + Water + Milk
Flavoured Milk is Milk + Flavour

So you cannot compare a watered down tea and milk beverage to true blue Aussie flavoured milk

I think tradies just slam one down at 6 am as part of their anti-hangover strategy. Combine that with a sausage roll, then chase it with a smoke and a little bit of meth and you're on

This is mostly because caffeine is heavily regulated in Australia. Artificial sources like energy drinks can barely have a soda can dose of caffeine. Coffee products are exempt from the restriction.

The government subsidising the dairy industry, essentially.
>>
>>22174223
Bizarre blatant lie, energy drinks still have tons of caffeine, are you expecting a full gram a can?
>>
>>22174352
Australian market energy drinks are babby mode.
These restrictions don't apply to coffee products (or dodgy imports).

Our iced coffees are milk, coffee, and (cane) sugar. Fuckface.
>>

You can buy international energy drinks anywhere; that syrupy Asian Redbull (which is lower caffeine than regular but is uncarbonated making it hit you faster), Brazilian guarana drinks, American energy drinks.
The Redbull recipe is universal at 32mg per 100ml anyway regardless of country.

If you want more caffeine just buy another can ffs.

This unironically makes me wanna go to Australia, something I've sworn off because I have a terrible spider phobia. How common are hunts men just in regular day life?

you are unlikely to encounter any creepy spiders if you are just visiting, and certainly not if you are staying in whichever city you fly into (Sydney or Mel-bin most likely). you could always go out of your way to poke around gardens and whatnot in the suburbs but spiders are not a part of every day life.

pic is a dead huntsman I found in my garden. seems to have become ensnared in a redback's web and was subsequently murdered and feasted on by the much smaller but much deadlier beastie
>>
>>22177228
>How common are hunts men just in regular day life?
Very common. All Australian families have to do a spider drill when they get in the house to make sure a spider didn't follow them through the airlock, and every Australian workplace is by law required to have an effigy by which the spider's curse may be removed from its victim.

Dreadful, I wish I wasn't so scared. It has nothing to do with the deadliness I wish it did because huntsmen are harmless.

It is bad enough that Australia banned an episode of Peppa Pig because they had an episode where they said spiders are friends.

My old house, pre 1900s build had resident spideys, holes everywhere. When they hatch you have 100s of the fuckers crawling out however most die/eaten by their siblings.
My modern cuck apartment? Zero.
Leafy beachside suburb btw
