How do you eat sardines?I'm adding them to some crackers right now
>>22171772Sardine Kimchi Cheese and Kewpie Mayo MeltMaybe some hot sauce too
>>22171772Crackers Lemon wedgesHot sauce for some of themI can't find my favorite brand lately, people are hoarding them.
>>22171827I see weird people at Aldi buying 20+ tins at a time latelyAldi brand is $1 per tin. Probably the cheapest available anywhere
>>22171818Sincerely the first time in my entire life where a fish melt has ever sounded appetizing to me. You're a genius, especially because I have a brand new jar of spicy kimchi in my fridge
>>22171847That's probably me and I always buy tons of the ones in water because I can't find them that cheap anywhere else and they are always fucking sold out.
I only eat them straight out of the can with my fingers.
>>22171864I've got to go to aldi, I like my sardines in oil so don't worry I'm not competition for you
>>22171917I think the only oil ones they have are in soibean oil.
>>22171827It's because of women. "Sardine fast" the new magic weight loss fad.
>>22171926Soybean and soy for that matter aren't filtered here.
>>22171930Onion oil sounds pretty good desu
I either mix a can into my daily lentil veggie curry when I eat it, or on the side with pan fried home made hash browns. Not a fan of eating them by themselves, but they add a nice savory fatty protein to my regular dishes.
>>22171933basedoil
>>22171772straight from the tin non drained absolutely love them
>>22171772rip the spine outadd to mouth, bread, cracker, toast, or pan and heat up briefly
>>22171772straight out of the tin, in pasta salad, or cooked in olive oil with garlic as a sauce for pasta.
The smell is just too much for me. Sorry everyone
A I retarded? Why would I not buy a million of the $2.49 can for apparently top of the line brislings vs $6.49 for a jar of maybe double in the original tin?
This is in the European Food Section so this is all supposed to be imported.Maybe it's because the cheaper tin says canola oil... Do countries other than Canada use canola oil as a name? Isn't Rapeseed everywhere else? The big jar doesn't have nutritional value I can get from that website like I could with the tin. Maybe the jar is legit olive oil.
>>22172510>>22172513It's canola oil the whole way down here boys... Are these the same Riga Brislings the niggaz on /deenz/ have been championing? I think I'm getting bamboozled and the stores are using those names to sell an inferior product.
>>22172519there is no /deenz/
>>22171818That looks so crunchy that it would wreck your mouthSounds tasty though!
>>22171772I like wearing them on crackers or in a mustard sauce over pasta
nice toast, lots of butter and some nice mustard under the sardines is pretty yummmers
>>22171772Crackers, spreads, cheeses, vegetales like tomato, onion, mushrooms, peppers. Certain canda of sardines taste great on their own especially if theyre filets without the scales i like them with pic rel
>>22171772same way you make tuna salador you can eat lime the other jew slavs itt and just spoon them right out the can onto some toast or cracker with a cheese spread or garlic butterwith sliced cucumbers radishes or some capers sprinkled ondill lemon diced red onions
>>22172510you get a reusable jar vs a disposable tin
any good brands you can get at ralphs?
>>22171772I just eat them on crackers with peppers on the side.
>>22171772Put the can in hot water for a few minutes and then dump it on toast. The deenz are soft enough to be spreadable. Absolute kino.
kipper snacks are better
>>22171772Reluctantly. But the Omega oils seem to help my migraines, so I try to eat 2 cans per week. I usually have them on rice, with some capers or soy sauce. The only ones I can tolerate are the King Oscar boneless skinless spanish style (periperi pepper, carrot, pickle, and bay leaf), and the Nuri spiced sardines (periperi pepper, carrot, pickle, bay leaf, and clove).
>>221725101) sprats (aka "brisling") aren't sardines2) those are packed in seed oils
>>22176442sprats are the best sardines. you cant change my mind on that one buddy.
many different ways, on crackers, in oat porridge, in tomato sauce, shredded and added to tacos
>>22171772On toasted bread with mustard with a side of gherkins
>>22171818i love kimchi gonna try this
>>22176442muh seed oilsmuh rancidyou're gonna die in the same decade as everyone else who ate le rancid oils bro
