Considering you’re doing a ton of other dishes anyway to cook for yourself, i dont feel bad when i serve myself alone on paper plates so i can have everything else cleaned and done when i sit down to eat, then just bin it afterCertain foods benefit from being foil wrapped to self steam before eating it, i often dont use a plate at all in that casePaper plates are even efficient when its a cheese-sauce based meal, so you dont have to scrub it off the plate and waste/ruin a scrubber pad (and you’re serving only yourself)
