>>22176180It is good, and very easy to make. I tried it after Chef John made a video about it years ago and it's become a breakfast/lunch staple in my house.
Cilbir>>22175306>shakshukaAnother of my favorites.
>>22176180Thank you, and like the other anon said this sort of thing is very easy to make. I crush up some sardine filets in an oven-safe pan after I sweat out some onion and garlic, then add a can of diced tomatoes. I bring that to a simmer and crack in my eggs, then put the whole thing into a preheated 300 degree oven for a few minutes till they're done to your liking. And that's it, you're done. It's better with fresh parsley added but not necessary, and besides that the ingredients are very convenient to keep around. Canned sardines, canned tomatoes, onion and garlic all keep in your cabinet for a very long time, and eggs keep for a long while too. A truly good breakfast should be filling, easy, and quick to make when you wake up in the morning and this ticks all of those boxes.
>>22173859German working class staple. Hard boiled eggs with mustard sauce.
