Is President the best brand of better for general use whereas Kerrygold or Isigny Ste-Mere have specific tastes and may not pair well with certain dishes?
>>
I don't notice the difference in butters. I buy store brands or whatever's cheapest. It's just an ingredient in larger dishes.

The culturing on President butter is so weak that it may as well be false advertising. Culture your own butter with more culturing medium in ratio to cream if you want a butter that has its own specific use for a proper table butter.
>>
im kinda partial to amish roll butter

It really depends on the country you're in. In the US I hear there is a big difference, but where I'm at most commercial butter is made to the same standard anyway, it's quite closely regulated, has a set percentage of fat and production process so there is not much reason to pay for the brand

thanks, but we already knew that

>Is President the best brand of better for general use
No it's horse shit
>whereas Kerrygold or Isigny Ste-Mere have specific tastes
Good butter doesn't have specific tastes (you mean flavours). Kerrygold is sewer tier. Isigny is fantastic if you can get it the day it was produced. Not worth bothering with if you can't.

This is food and cooking. The US is completely irrelevant. As is your country (Russia/India/China)

You're trying too hard here. The snarky pretentiousness is off the charts. You must be a massive faggot. Incredibly obnoxious and odious.

I don't understand why men have to turn everything into a pissing contest.

>Muh butter is more expensive than yours
>Muh butter comes from further away than yours
>Muh butter tastes more putrid than yours

Hahahahhahahah

Just make your own butter if you want to be pretentious about it. It's not even hard.

All the "Amish" rolled butter in stores isn't Amish, it's bs marketing. It's like the company 100% Angus beef who sells mystery cow anus burgers.

>This is food and cooking. The US is completely irrelevant. As is your country (Russia/India/China)
The country is not irrelevant. if you happen to live somewhere where butter is tightly regulated, it basically comes in two qualities.
certified quality: 99% identical product from a hand full of factories sold under a hundret brands. clone products can be spotted by the manufacturer id, why would you ever buy something else but the cheapest.
unregulated yellow slob: might aswel buy margarine

We invented food, dipshit. It says so in the Bible. If you could read the original American text, you'd know that.
>>
>>22176717
Im in the US and for most of my life ive had generic butter or margarine. I tried kerrygold and I feel like I was raped by chemical sludge my whole life and that this kerrygold is real butter. I havn't even gotten around to trying other kinds.

I used to buy $1 breads at stop and shop like 6-10 years ago and they were good. Now if I try buying any of these from a wal mart bakery they have no flavor at all. They cost $1.50. For a good bakery bread its $3.75+ at another store
>>
Cake baking autists love this shit for some reason.
>>
>>22176867
I know this and don't care, it's still the best butter brand on the shelf. Also I live in amish territory so I can get actual amish butter, but like everything else those fucking dutchoids sell its expensive as shit

President Butter

It's the same here in Poland, most butter is done to the "extra" specification which is legally required to be 84% or more fat and has a tightly specified production process

President butter is good and soft when use solo.
For baking, any type works, delicate flavors got nuked. High butterfat doesnt matter in croissant.

>baking
The higher water content generally improves texture for baked goods, as the water expands during evaporation.

But for preparing regular dishes,, I prefer the European butter, which mandates 83% butter fat
>>

I meant steaming.

A girl see this in your fridge you are teleported out of the friend zone and get your cock sucked immediately.
