What is objectively the best way to prepare beans?
>>22176269those slices of bread are completely fucking useless, just remove them before they get soggy and disgusting.
>>22176269Caribean style beans and rice. You make the thinnest tortilla then place it on the plate to mop up all the sauces and keep the plate clean. Then Mound that B with the beans and rice and whatever Chicken leg quarter. Jerk Chicken or what have you. I like a sauced chicken, so the sauce is like traditional Texas barbecue tried to fuck a jerk chicken. Sweet Spicey, with the heavy hit of the jerk masala and bitter orange, or whatever orange you have. The beans, rice and chicken are enough for a good time and have you booty dancing like a big black jungle mammy but you can add some fried plaintains too if this isnt enough for you.

I drain and rinse canned beans and add them to salads. Sometimes I'll rinse and drain canned beans and add them to the dressing and blend them for a creamier dressing. If dried, wash and rinse them, and soak them overnight (salt your soak). And then next day in a slow cooker with anything I want.I'll also do the blending trick with pasta sauce. Tomorrow for example I'm gonna make a Sunday tomato sauce I'll be having with ground beef for dinner, so I'll be blending some of the sauce with a can of butter beans for super creamy texture. If I'm lazy, canned beans, drained and rinsed, with some rice, seasoned like if it were steak or chicken or something Asian. Beans get a bad rap for being poor people depression food. On the contrary, they're super healthy, provide great macros, are filling, cheap, versatile. All of this adds fiber and protein to your meals. Beans are amazing.Picrel is a white bean stew with spinach and chorizo I had on the slow cooker for 8 hours that I made last week, lasted for days. Fucking delicious.
