I really got into shopping for essentials that are typical in Japan over the typical American items. There's something simple and primitive about it that I'm really enjoying.Once you get into the routine of cold pickling every couple of days all you need to do is put rice in the rice cooker and make your protein.
What do you consider typical american products? Boxed pasta and powdered sauce kits? Canned meals? Or just anything NOT produce?
