Bringing your own condiments - that's the ultimate hack.

I used to go to McDonalds and get a double cheeseburger, one fried chicken, and one spicy fried chicken. Stack the chicken under the patties, the hash brown over.
Always a great lunch.

one i discovered recently is the greek place by me. guy does a chicken skewer plate with two sides and pita for a price. for the same price, you can get the chicken wrap plate which comes with two sides and a pita also but that wrap is like 3x the amount of chicken, plus the veg in the wrap and the big pita itself. i'm waiting to see how long until he figures this out

you don't cook and don't eat never post here again
>>
I like to buy two cheese burgers and put them one on top of the other to make a doubled cheeseburger

Back in the day adding toppings to a medium pizza was cheaper than adding them to a large at Papa John's but their website had a "Papa size your pizza for only $x" upselling button at checkout so I'd add all my toppings to a medium pie then papa size it to a large for $2 and get large toppings at a medium topping price.

i just get a double cheeseburger and a mcchicken, then take the bottom bun off of both and eat them at the same time. haven't done that in a long time though.

I like asking for my fries extra crispy
>>
McDouble, add big mac sauce and lettuce. It's basically a big mac for half the price, and without the unnecessary extra bread.

Using a chicken drumstick to eat ice cream.

the ultimate menu hack is looking at the menu and deciding to go somewhere else

Frozen spider: frozen drink and a softserve, I don't know if it is still cheaper than the menu option.
>>
Order multiple small, cheap burgers instead of one overpriced big burger. It'll change your perspective.
>>
My hack is just leaving after you finish eating. You don't even need to ask for the bill you can just leave.

I order the cheapest meal and look for the most expensive add ons and free-bees.
>If you order the 99¢ iced coffee from McDonald's, the additional syrups are free in the add on section. If you want an extra caramel iced coffee, order a vanilla with no vanilla and add as much caramel pumps as you want for This only works on the 99¢ deal. They still fill it full with light ice. I'll get a 1.89 sausage biscuit and select 6 butters and 6 honeys in the app. They're free with no limit that I've seen, but I don't want to get too greedy and ruin it. If they don't put them in, I dispute the order. (if you're on doordash and you pay for a side sauce, you can get an entire order refunded if they forget it) I then ask for a lot of ketchup politely when I get to the window as soon as I grab the bag. They take a handful and throw it into a small bag and I don't have to buy butter, ketchup or honey. If I'm stocked up on these, I switch to salsa and mayo. I save a ton on condiments.
>sometimes jack in the box will have a 4 or 5 dollar meal deal
You can upgrade to a redbull for 20¢ more. A single redbull costs between 3 and 4 dollars so that makes up for 75% of the cost if you were planning on having an energy drink anyway. You can also upgrade to the sauced and loaded fries for no extra charge and these typically go for around $5. So you're getting about $9 worth of individual product without even including the main burger.
I've got a few more like this.

You can't add big mac sauce in the app
>>
based, i get the weekly free fries with a large coke (no ice) for $1.89

My only issue with this is that it seems like the items already have plenty of sauce.

In australia we have something called a "mcsmart" meal. You used to be able to get it with 2 burgers for 6.95 AUD.
You could get 2 cheeseburgers, remove the top patty of one, add big mac sauce, and get basically just a big mac sans lettuce for half the price of a small big mac meal.

picrel,
you got a cheeseburger, plus your choice of a chicken and cheese or a second cheeseburger
