Nice, I'm eating a small dose of mushrooms myself.

>Tfw will never get drunk with sorority girls drinking shots of fireball dropped in angry orchard ever again
Never get old.
>>

That's the first drink I ever experimented with at 24. Im 35 now and on at least 1 litre of vodka a day. The progression of alcoholism is a sight to behold
>>
>>22178133
i was like that once.
Bad times. The anxiety was driving me crazy

Getting sober was the most important thing I ever did in my middle age years
>>
>>22178722
nta but I got sober for a few years and life just became 10 times worse. alcohol at least let's me enjoy a few hours of every day instead of being miserable the whole time.

I feel similarly. I don't drink until the late afternoon/evenings and I don't drink (either at all or stop after one or two) on nights when I have to be up for work, the following morning. That said, I'm generally looking forward to when I can drink and let loose and that hasn't gotten any better or worse in the last 15+ years.

>started drinking at 24
there's your problem, you didn't learn to hate it in your teens
>>
>>22177968
That stuff is terrible.

At my peak I drank that much. Get out while you still can. You're doing a lot of damage. You can find happiness without it. And even if it's not the same happiness you get from the bottle, you're alive to feel it.
>>
pretty good mixed with apple juice or milk

why do you hate yourself?

I love this stuff and Hot Damn.

How are you not dead from pancreatitis from doing this? Doesn't that only take like five years of heavy drinking to happen?
>>
there is literally nothing good about fireball beyond the novelty. no idea why this shit is still featured so prominently in liquor shops.

I don't know. I drank a fifth a night for about ten years, but it was only at night and then I worked and drank water and sweated it out before going again.
The people who have organ failure are usually the ones who drink all day long and as soon as they wake up and just always stay a little loaded.
I could never drink that way because I drank fast and then blacked out and passed out all within about 5-6 hours of starting.
The liver (and pancreas) needs time to heal and those steady drinkers don't give it that.

I lost a lot of weight and got real healthy after I quit the booze. But I was lucky. A lot of people just can't put it down. I hope they get the hangovers and damages I got and maybe they'll succeed.
>>
Love a drink or two with dinner to cap off a day. It is psychologically good for me because I use it as a transition from work to play

Mjam, mjam.

Lmao. Wow. That's nuts, but no I'm fine the mushroom I had was legit. Ate the pbj tortilla and 1.5 of my homemade edibles and had a blast. Was a little difficult to get to sleep as it almost always is after a shrooms trip but aside from that no bad effects.
>>
>>22178125
That's not even half a gram. Did you feel anything? Before I quit drugs five years ago my go to for a good time was a few grams of mushrooms, a twelve pack of beer, countless joints, a pack of smokes, and some kind of upper like coke or molly or ecstacy or adderall or a combination of some of those uppers. And if there was ket or acid around I would throw that in the mix too. I didn't touch downers because they're dangerous to mix with alcohol and other drugs especially if you're drinking and recklessly taking a bunch of different things at the same time. I probably would have died if I were doing downers on top of all that other stuff.
>>
>>22179816
Yeah it actually weighed a little over 1g and because it has probably been at least 2 years since I last did them. Plus they're medical grade supposedly. It definitely hit harder than I expected even taking into account the 50mg of cannabis edibles I had with it.
>>
>>22179129
youd be surprised. alcoholics have this incredible ability to not die. until they do.
It could take decades

It often does. Usually two. I've had several friends die of alcoholism late thirties early forties. Sad, but they just would not stop. Even after being hospitalized with swollen legs and jaundice.
As soon as they "got better" they started up drinking again and then lasted a few months to a couple years.

I like knowing how ill die though, and what to expect. Takes the fear and mystery out of death

Do you really know what to expect? And you don't fear that?
I don't think you understand. No alcoholic on his death bed declares how proud he is to be going out like that. They warn everyone not to do it. See: >>22179935
>>
>>22179935
it varies greatly. A friend of mine died young. he had diabeetus and ignored it and drank like a fish. he lost a foot and then his life.
I drank massive amounts for years and only suffered psychological problems that subsided after a few days of abstaining.
